Journey to the Savage Planet, which is a 2020 adventure game that offers a moderate-sized main campaign, is getting a new DLC called Hot Garbage soon. The upcoming expansion will be available for $8 and will allow players to explore a new area, unlock new upgrades, and battle against new enemies. Additionally, it appears that Kindred Aerospace, the company that the players work for, will be sending an enemy robot to chase the players around in the DLC expansion.

The Hot Garbage DLC will be released to the Xbox One and PC versions of Journey to the Savage Planet on April 15, while a release date for the PS4 is still unknown, but is expected to follow shortly after. Interestingly enough, the release of the DLC expansion will be just a few days after Journey to the Savage Planet is added to the Xbox Game Pass, allowing new players to expand their game immediately.

A new trailer for the Hot Garbage DLC showcased new tools, which will include a jetpack, a toxic deshocker, and underwater boots. Of course, the inclusion of a jetpack and underwater boots will allow players to explore more of the game's vast world, and the new waterfront resort called DL-C1, which is also a new inclusion that will be introduced in the DLC expansion.

Journey to the Savage Planet is out now for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
