Jolyne Cujou and her dominating Stone Ocean Stand may be able to effectively eliminate many of their opponents single-handedly, however, she would not have had as much success if it weren't for her loyal allies. With her no-nonsense, can-do attitude, Jolyne has managed to amass a valuable following to assist her in reawakening her father (and escaping prison when the time is right.)

Jolyne's support system will be ranked according to their level of loyalty although their advantageous power class also comes into play. Only JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean's anime will be considered, as there are various differences between the Manga and adaptation.

Updated on November 10, 2022, by Levana Chester-Londt: Jolyne's Bizarre Adventures are neatly wrapped up in Stone Ocean: Part 3, and fans are elated to see their favorite Joestar girl reunited with (almost) all her allies at the end of the day.

Although it was a harrowing journey (which Joylne likely has no recollection of), defeating Father Pucci could have not been done alone, and it took some incredible teamwork to eventually get the job done. Jolyne may be a "hardened" criminal like the rest of her friends; however, this little make-shift family deserves the best in life, as they clearly care a great deal about one another, and their loyalty is unwavering.

The following article discusses events from all 38 episodes of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, now streaming on Netflix.

8 Gwess

Gwess eating a cookie in her cell

While Gwess started out as a heartless, pet-collecting antagonist, she is essentially Jolyne's greatest and only ally in the vicinity after Mui Mui's attack. With Jolyne suffering from severe short-term memory loss, this would have been the perfect opportunity for Gwess to take advantage of the confused girl, but instead, she chose to maintain the moral high ground and helps her out instead.

Gwess must have explained Jail House Lock's effects a million times, but she keeps at it, repeatedly; as if suddenly a mother to a rather inept toddler. Gwess fetches food for her (even after Jolyne mistakenly already ate her cellmate's meal) and continues to remind her to check the "Post-it" notes scrawled across her body.

7 The Speedwagon Foundation

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Jolyne Cujou's allies Savage Garden The Speedwagon Foundation Pale Snake aka Whitesnake Pucci Stand

Even though The Speedwagon Foundation did not directly assist Jolyne very much, they are quite invested in sorting out Jotaro's situation, so, they are essentially on the same team. This organization primarily focuses on environmental conservation and medical research, but they have also provided support for the Joestars on numerous occasions over the years.

Savage Garden hangs around the Green Dolphin Street Prison long enough for Joyne to pass along the treasured Stand DISC, which would subsequently be transported to the Speedwagon Foundation, who are caring for Jotaro while he is trapped in a comatose-like state.

6 Weather Report

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Jolyne Cujou's allies Weather Report

This amnesiac Stand user is first introduced to Jolyne by Emporio in "Operation Savage Garden" and almost immediately comes to her aid as the perfect counter to Lang Rangler and his gravity-defying Stand, Jumpin' Jack Flash. He also produces a downpour of poisonous dart frogs to give Joyne the opportunity to get her hands on Jotaro's Stand DISC, subsequently also protecting her from Pucci's grasp. After their short time together, Jolyne and Weather Forecast form a strong bond, which is apparent during their warm embrace once reunited again in episode 22. Sure, that is actually Pale Snake in disguise, but Jolyne doesn't know that and her response to seeing an old friend is genuine (as is Anastasia's subsequent jealousy).

So it seems that Weather Forecast's problems with Pucci have nothing to do with helping Jolyne but rather involve a personal vengeance against his brother. The former nice guy has a secret sadistic side that was buried along with his memories, but now that his inhibitions have been set free, the family resemblance becomes quite evident. Although the white-haired warrior is not in control of his destructive Heavy Forecast ability, he admits to getting a jolt of satisfaction from seeing others suffer by his hand, as the rest should suffer as severely as he has.

Nevertheless, Weather Forecast (aka Domenico Pucci) is not pure evil and so he begs Anastasia to kill him in order to terminate his Stand's effects while also understanding that taking down the tyrant will benefit Jolyne and honor F.F.'s memory, so at least those ideals line up. Weather Forecast is automatically welcomed back into the ranks when the universe resets; evidently redeemed from his moment of darkness.

5 Ermes Costello

Jolyne and Ermes getting ready to fight

Ermes was Jolyne's first ally at Green Dolphin Street Prison after the girls met on the jail-bound bus and Jolyne received a brief yet informative run down about the secrets to working the incarceration system. The pair form a haphazard bond that slowly strengthens over time and they essentially become B.F.F.'s.

Ermes does eventually go off on her own mission to eliminate Sports Maxx, leaving Jolyne to fend for herself, but thankfully the trio reassembles just in time. Her overpowered Stand, Smack, involves duplicating anything with the help of a mystical set of stickers, whereby the two segments suddenly "Kiss" with a substantial force. Fans still cannot believe Ermes had the nerve to do this to her own face to gain the upper hand on Sports Maxx, but kudos to her for the bravery!

Jolyne's best gal pal fights faithfully by her side right up until her last breath, and Ermes never once considers fleeing the scene to create some distance between herself and Pucci's target to improve her own chances of survival. Despite being a hothead herself, Ermes regularly offers Joylne logical words of wisdom in an attempt to drive her away from any rash decisions, particularly when her emotions begin to get the better of her.

That being said, Ermes generally allows her feisty friend to take the lead in most situations and will quite literally follow her bestie to the ends of the earth. Even though Ermes' contribution to Stone Ocean: Part 3 isn't terribly significant to the overall plot development, having such a loyal companion by her side certainly helps Jolyne considerably.

4 Jotaro Kujo

Jotaro and Jolyne in the meeting room

The infamous Jotaro is essentially a deadbeat dad who left Jolyne feeling abandoned in a single-parent household, although, in his defense, he was just trying to safeguard her from Pucci's sinister influence. This iconic character only features in three episodes of Stone Ocean so far, even though he is arguably the most important character. Thanks to Star Platinum's assistance, father and daughter are able to escape the melting room in "Prisoner of Love," which is also when Jolyne discovers how deeply Jotaru truly cares for her. The devastated and determined young lady proceeds to do everything in her power to revive his DISC-less body.

Jotaro fully redeems himself in Part 3 of Stone Ocean, as his fierce paternal instincts are put on full display as he does absolutely everything in his power to protect his precious daughter. Even when the fate of the world lies in his hands, Jotaro does not hesitate to use what little time he has to push Jolyne out of harm's way, sacrificing his best opportunity of thwarting the pessimistic priest. He steps further into the daddy role by shielding his baby girl from Anastasia's advances, however, does not stand in her way when she accepts the proposal on her own accord.

3 Foo Fighters

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Jolyne Cujou's allies Foo Fighters F.F.

F.F. seemed quite content to live out their days in the swamplands and work as Pucci's guard dog, but their run-in with Jolyne and Ermes changed their entire outlook on life. Thereafter, a reformed F.F. is willingly incarcerated, choosing to rather accompany their new friends back to prison and work on their personal growth, while protecting and healing the girls whenever possible.

F.F. takes great efforts to change their abrasive attitude when they realize it is causing trouble for the team and faces numerous near-death experiences for the sake of saving their allies. F.F. are truly grateful for the chance to say farewell to Jolyne when they suffer a fatal defeat, after spending their last energy to assist Jolyne one final time, as opposed to preserving their own life instead.

2 Narciso Anasui

Anasui from Stone Ocean anime

Anastasia, aka Narciso Anasui, starts off precariously on the allies list, for now, as his loyalty is quite temperamental (and he throws unnecessarily derogatory insults towards the beloved F.F). While the pink-haired powerhouse may be completely invested in Jolyne's safety, his ulterior motives (to marry the unsuspecting girl) raises a great deal of suspicion.

Anastasia's terms are conditional when officially joins the team, to the detriment of everyone except for Jolyne. He idly stands by and watches F.F. fight a losing battle against Kenzou, and only gets involved once Jolyne is directly harmed. Diver Down does, however, pack a mighty punch and save the leading lady on several occasions, and Anastasia also selflessly offered his body to F.F. in "Jailbreak..." so he has his merits too.

Although Anastasia's affections for Jolyne are bordering on the Yandere side of things and his intentions initially seemed to hold little weight to them, this pink-haired punk has proven himself to be hopelessly (and selflessly) head-over-heels in love. Not only does Anastasia put his best efforts into safeguarding Jolyne, but he sacrifices his own well-being to help her father, knowing full well how devastated she would be if she lost Jotaro again.

The former inmate pays no heed to his own needs and opts to insert Diver Down into each of his allies so that he can absorb any damage they sustain while trying to outrun Father Pucci. Seeing no better option out of their predicament, Anastasia offers himself up as bait, intentionally allowing himself to be fatally wounded, just to grant his new "family" the chance to potentially take Pucci down. When the world is reset, most fans are thrilled to see these lovebirds officially dating, looking happier than they have ever been (and on the road toward married life).

1 Emporio Alniño

Emporio from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean

Young Emporio is the orphaned child of a previous inmate who has survived 11 years by concealing himself in a secret hidy-hole (which is effectively a ghostly alternate dimension) created by his Stand, Burning Down the House. As soon as the boy realizes that Jolyne can be trusted, his loyalty is unwavering as Emporio risks everything on a regular basis to help his new friend. Emporio keeps a close eye on Jolyne from the shadows of Green Dolphin Street Prison, always popping out at the most convenient times. He ensures to keep all the collected DISCS as safe as possible, and nearly kills himself trying to help Jolyne with Mui Mui's mind-bending Stand.

When Father Pucci and his overpowered Stand come out to play, Emporio is visibly terrified but refuses to submit to the tyrant, as he is painfully aware of being Joylne's "last hope." He successfully delivers Jorato's Memory DISC to the Speedwagon Foundation (putting his life on the line yet again) and manages to negate the panic response to flee to his secret room after he suddenly finds himself back at Green Dolphin Street Prison.

The quick-thinker is the only person to find Father Pucci's weakness, who is but a man, after all, and gains control over Weather Report with incredible efficiency, taking the Big Bad out of commission for good. Emporio's tear-stricken face at seeing Jolyne alive, well, and happy to boot is a testament to how intently he cares for the green-haired girl.
