JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is an epic shonen/seinen series written by Hirohiko Araki. The series is divided into several parts, and each part focuses on a different protagonist and antagonist. Currently, Araki is writing part 7, or JoJolion. Though the manga isn't finished, plenty of fans still love the series for what it currently offers.

Like many popular anime, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has its own power system. For the first two parts, Hamon was the preferred power, but Araki later changed it to what are known as Stands. Each Stand is unique, and has a distinct ability that separates them from the others. However, not all are created equal — some Stands are more powerful than others.

29 Kiss

• Can create copies of objects
• Power is not affected by range

Kiss is a close-range Stand that belongs to Ermes Costello from Stone Ocean. Ermes was not born with the Stand; instead, she awakened it while in prison. Kiss does not function that well when an opponent is far away, but its ability more than makes up for it. Kiss's special power allows it to create stickers. Once they are placed on an object, a copy of the same item is created.

If the original goes far away from the copy, the Stand's power does not deactivate. Ermes can peel off the sticker from the copy, which causes the two to come close together at a high pace. This damages the original object. Ermes can use this ability to lay traps for unsuspecting opponents. She can also rely on Kiss to fight other close-range Stands.

28 Beach Boy

• Nearly impossible to beat
• Any damage to the string is reflected

Beach Boy may not be the flashiest Stand in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, but it is definitely one of the strongest. The Stand is suited for both long and short-distance fights. Pesci would throw the hook of the Stand, which could pass through the walls.

Once the hook successfully ensnared a person, Pesci could reel them in towards him. If a person tried to cut the string, the damage would be transferred to them. This made it impossible to escape from the grip of the Stand. If Pesci had more talent or a better understanding of his Stand, then he would have easily managed to kill members of Bucciarati's gang.

27 Red Hot Chili Pepper

• Power depends on sources
• Can match the destructive power of a close-range Stand

Red Hot Chili Pepper is often overlooked in debates about powerful Stands, and wrongly so. It had an immense amount of potential, which, if fulfilled, would have made it an extremely dangerous Stand. Even though Red Hot Chili Pepper is a long-range Stand, it can deal the same amount of damage as close-range ones.

The Stand's power is directly proportional to the amount of energy that it is supplied with. If there is an enormous power source nearby, Red Hot Chili Pepper can overwhelm and blitz Crazy Diamond. However, this also serves as its weakness. If it does not receive enough energy, it will be unable to beat the weakest Stands.

26 C-Moon

• Power to reverse gravity
• Can be used from a distance

C-Moon was the first step in the evolution of Pucci's Whitesnake into Made in Heaven. While C-Moon is not as powerful as the final evolution, it is stronger than most Stands in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It is a remote-controlled Stand, so the user can hide themselves and still manage to beat their opponent.

C-Moon had the power to alter the gravity of a certain place. It would make Pucci the center of a reverse gravitational process. If C-Moon touched a person, it would turn their heart inside out, leading to their death. Additionally, C-Moon has the ability to accelerate time within a specific radius.

25 The Grateful Dead

The Grateful Dead is a long-range Stand that is capable of wreaking havoc in a very short time. The Stand accelerates aging in living beings, causing them to grow old both physically and mentally. The Grateful Dead can attack people over a large range, or it can directly turn a single person old by touching them.

The Stand's ability to affect people in a vast area paves the way for its user to massacre all of them quite easily. The Stand does have a few drawbacks, which include its ability to affect even allies and its inability to fight more powerful close-range Stands.

24 The Hand

• Can erase things from existence

The Hand is a powerful Stand that debuted in Diamond is Unbreakable. The Stand belongs to Nijimura Okuyasu, who is a stereotypical airhead, and for this reason, the Stand's power is severely limited. The Hand does not have a complicated ability, but rather a simple (yet powerful) ability to erase anything from existence.

Anything that comes in contact with the right hand of the Stand is completely eradicated. This includes all kinds of objects. The Stand has a few weaknesses, such as how it only works with the right hand and that it's rather slow in speed. But, under the control of a capable user, these disadvantages wouldn't matter.

23 Stone Free

• Can create strings from itself via unravelling
• Extremely versatile

Stone Free is the Stand of Jolyne Cujoh, the main protagonist of Stone Ocean. She awakened the Stand after she cut herself with a piece of the Stand Arrow while inside the prison. At first, Jolyne did not understand the power of her Stand, but with time, she managed to master it completely.

The Stand can unravel parts of its body in the form of threads to increase its attacking range and perform other tasks. But, if the Stand is unraveled too much, it loses physical power. When the Stand is not unraveling itself, it remains extremely powerful, launching punches that badly damage the body of another person. So, Jolyne has to be careful while picking a strategy for a fight.

22 Purple Haze

• Possesses a killer virus

Purple Haze is among the stand-out powers in Golden Wind. The Stand belongs to Pannacotta Fugo, a member of Bucciarati's Gang. Purple Haze is a dual-edged sword that can affect both the enemies and the allies, which is why Fugo is always reluctant to use it in combat.

The Stand is armed with a deadly flesh-eating virus that turns a person's body into goo in a matter of seconds. The Stand also has decent physical power, making it one of the more balanced Stands in the story.

21 Chariot Requiem

Chariot Requiem is the evolved form of Polnareff's Silver Chariot. The Stand came into being after Silver Chariot was stabbed by the Stand Arrow, which also resulted in Polnareff's death. Chariot Requiem was motivated by one thing and one thing only: to protect the Stand Arrow at all costs.

It is an automatic Stand that is endowed with the power of regeneration, allowing it to reattach limbs. The Stand's power affects all the living beings in the area, including Stands. 20 Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a unique-looking Stand that belongs to Tamaki Damo. The Stand has multiple hands, which not only gives it a cool appearance but also allows the Stand to leave fingerprints on several surfaces.

Any individual who comes in contact with these fingerprints has their body softened. They lose their rigidity, causing them to liquefy, and turn into a puddle of flesh. The targets are left completely defenseless and at the mercy of Damo, who can take his time torturing them. The biggest shortcoming of the Stand is its limited range. If a person manages to leave its vicinity, they immediately turn back to normal.

19 Diver Down

Diver Down is the Stand of Anasui, who is an important character in Stone Ocean. The Stand has a limited range, but makes up for it with its incredible physical abilities. Diver Down has two special powers that make it among the best Stands in the series.

It can store its strikes on any surface, and they can be released on Anasui's commands. This is an effective method of catching opponents off guard. The other ability of the Stand is to phase through solids and rearrange them completely.

18 Soft and Wet

Soft and Wet is the Stand of Josuke Higashikata. It is strong in melee combat, and it can dominate most Stands in a physical fight. Soft and Wet can create bubbles that can steal away properties of other objects.

The Stand also has some qualities of Yoshikage Kira's Stand, so it can produce minor explosions with the help of the bubbles. Finally, the most powerful attribute of the Stand is its ability to create bubbles that go beyond regular physics. These bubbles spin at an incredible speed which makes them "non-existent" and allows them to bypass the defenses of Stands such as Wonder of U.

17 Green Day

Green Day belongs to Cioccolata, a member of Passione. He was originally a doctor, who performed sick and sordid experiments on his patients. Even Diavolo was cautious about sending him on a mission.

Cioccolata's Green Day is a close-range Stand that can wipe out entire cities in no time. The Stand produces mold, which starts to attack any living thing that moves from a high to low altitude. Even seemingly innocuous activities, such as picking up keys, can be fatal.

16 Wonder of U

• ​​​​​Manipulates calamities
• Cannot be attacked

Wonder of U has a case of being the strongest Stand in the series. It is a sentient Stand that can function on its own. Wonder of U possesses a number of abilities that make it an extremely dangerous stand. It can create illusions of itself, which can confuse the target.

However, the biggest strength of the Stand is its ability to manipulate calamities. Any person who harbors any kind of negative intentions toward the Stand is affected by calamities. To activate the Stand, a person must have looked at its back, while it was in its human form.

15 White Album

The Stand is able to freeze anything in its surroundings. While using Gently Wipes, it can bring the temperature down to -251°C, and at this point, can freeze air itself. Furthermore, White Album also increases Ghiaccio's strength and speed. The only real weakness of the Stand is that it has an open hole at the back of its neck.

14 Cream

Vanilla Ice was one of the penultimate villains in Stardust Crusaders. His stand, Cream is among the most lethal Stands in the series. The Stand allows the user to enter its mouth, where they remain safe from any potential harm. Within its mouth lies a different dimension, and anything except the user will be consumed and disintegrated by its power.

The only real drawback of this Stand is that the user can't see what's going on outside unless they take their head out of the stand's mouth.

13 Heaven's Door

Heaven's Door is the Stand of Kishibe Rohan, one of the main characters in Diamond is Unbreakable. The Stand has incredible potential for growth. With Heaven's Door, Rohan is able to learn about his opponent's strengths and weaknesses.

He can even write commands on the bodies of his opponents, which will be carried out as long as they are within the limits of the human body. However, the Stand lacks the physical strength to fight against other close-range Stands, and a person who is blinded by emotions won't be affected by Rohan's power.

12 Metallica

Risotto Nero's Metallica is different from most of the Stands in the series, as it operates in colonies. The Stand has the power to manipulate iron using magnetism.

Risotto uses his stand to manipulate iron inside the target's body, creating sharp objects. Using up iron inside the target's body causes the hemoglobin levels to plummet, resulting in a slow and agonizing death. Metallica can also turn its user invisible by sticking iron particles on their body, which causes the body to reflect light. It's an incredibly versatile Stand, which is a big part of what makes it powerful.

10 Killer Queen

Killer Queen belongs to Yoshikage Kira, the main antagonist of the arc Diamond is Unbreakable. The Stand isn't the strongest in terms of physical power, but it overcomes this shortcoming with its unique ability to create bombs by touching the surface of an object or a person.

Killer Queen has two types of bombs: Sheer Heart Attack, a long-range bomb; and Bites The Dust, which Kira can plant inside the body of another individual. The latter stays inside the body of the individual, and explodes when Kira's identity is revealed. The explosion creates a time loop, rewinding time by half an hour.
