Over the weekend John Krasinski launched a new YouTube channel called Some Good News. The news channel is "dedicated entirely to good news" around the world and Krasinski took time in one of his first episodes to honor the 15-year anniversary of The Office.

Krasinski was joined by his former co-star Steve Carell where they reminisced over some of their favorite moments in the series. For a brief moment Carell's wife, Nancy, made an appearance just to say hello to Krasinski. Nancy also had a brief guest star role on The Office as Michael Scott's realtor girlfriend.

The channel was started from Krasinski's home office to combat the never-ending onslaught of COVID-19 news causing a drain on everyone's psyche. The first episode was dedicated to the men and women hard at work in healthcare. His very first guest was a sweet little girl who had just overcome treatment in chemotherapy.  The show is book-ended with several other heartwarming stories for viewers to enjoy.

The hope for the channel is to bring viewers uplifting content about what's going on in the world, as many remain in isolation at home. "Even indoors, in the weird world of isolation, good news was happening everywhere." Krasinski's low budget news show appears to be the first of many to come and may be the one news source with actual good news.

Some Good News is out now and viewers can subscribe exclusively on YouTube.
