For many people, the Nintendo Switch is not a console associated with dirty jokes or bad language, despite a few exceptions. The trippiest things players on the Switch might experience these days are the Jolly Paintings in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. So it may surprise players to know that there is a video game starring raunchy humor-spewing, weed smoking, always swearing Jay and Silent Bob coming to the Nintendo Switch, as well as to Steam.

The game, titled Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl is scheduled to release on the Nintendo Switch eShop on May 7th. For those unfamiliar with Jay and Silent Bob, they are a pair of recurring characters in several Kevin Smith movies portrayed by Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith himself. They are almost always comedy relief, and while definitely funny, they are definitely not rated PG.

While the adult humor-centered duo coming to the Switch does not make a lot of sense, Mall Brawl itself is a retro-styled beat 'em up, with graphics designed to mimic the NES. Classic beat 'em ups and games that mimic them have been doing well on the Switch, so there's a good chance that Mall Brawl could find an audience among fans of the genre or of the films.

Snootches

Any players who fit into those categories should at least give Mall Brawl a look when it releases. It may just wind up as one of the underappreciated gems of the Switch.

Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl is coming to PC and the Nintendo Switch on May 7th.
