Filmmaker James Gunn has been in the news a lot since he took over his new position at DC. After Dwayne Johnson confirmed that his antihero will not be a part of the reformed DCU, Gunn has now shared his response to the entire situation.When Black Adam was first released, fans were excited to see Henry Cavill return as Superman and were looking forward to seeing what happens next. It was first confirmed that Cavill will not return as Superman in the DCU, and now Johnson's fate has also been revealed. This has left fans feeling slightly positive that perhaps there is an opportunity to bring back their favorite DC heroes into the new DCU at some point in the future.
