The final trailer for No Time To Die has dropped, reconfirming the release date of the severely delayed project. The 25th installment in the James Bond franchise will be Daniel Craig’s final run as 007, and the trailer makes sure that viewers remember that fact. Not only does the trailer remind fans that the wait for the next Bond escapade is almost over (finally), but it also acts as a reminder that this will be the conclusion of Craig’s story as 007.

The No Time to Die trailer was shared by the official James Bond 007 YouTube channel and was even posted by MGM on social media. However, an alternate “International Trailer” was also released, which contains similar footage from the upcoming film with a small variation. The release date in the international No Time Time to Die trailer reads September 30, which means that the film arrives a week earlier in some other parts of the world, as previously announced.

Both trailers highlight Craig’s journey as 007 and the fact that he will be involved in a larger mystery in No Time To Die. All of the villains that he has faced thus far seem to be connected, and the upcoming film will throw James Bond amid some of the biggest threats that he has ever encountered. The action-packed trailers offer glimpses of some of the tricky situations Bond will find himself facing, and how he would potentially escape.

Apart from Craig, the trailers feature Rami Malek as Safin, who seems to be spinning an evil plot against Bond. Léa Seydoux also returns as Bond’s love interest Dr. Madeleine Swann, but it seems like she will be deeply involved in Safin’s plot. Fan-favorite characters like Q, portrayed by Ben Whishaw, and M, played by Ralph Fiennes, will also be returning in No Time To Die, as confirmed in the trailers.

It is already known that No Time To Die picks up five years after the events of Spectre, with Christoph Waltz's Blofeld being captured and Craig’s Bond leaving MI6. But, as part of his last foray, Bond will be drawn back into the mysterious plot of a missing scientist. After Spectre had been released, Craig was initially been hesitant about returning as the extremely popular character. However, it was later announced that he would be returning to the role of James Bond one final time in No Time To Die.

The James Bond film has faced several delays in production, which began after multiple directors exited the project due to creative differences. After Cary Joji Fukunaga joined the film as director, the release was pushed back several times due to the ongoing pandemic. However, despite all the speed bumps, the film will finally be premiering in theaters within a month and fans are ecstatic, to say the least.

No Time To Die premieres in theaters on October 8, 2021.
