Yet another combat sports athlete has come out and claimed that they would like to fight controversial influencer turned professional boxer, Jake Paul.

Jake Paul has already fought two former UFC fighters this year and won both bouts, yet he is now in the sights of current UFC fighter, Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal previously cheered Paul on when he faced one of Masvidal's former opponents, Ben Askren, but now claims that he would like to take Paul on in the future. Jake Paul still remains undefeated in the ring beating former UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley via split decision back in August. Many fans expected Woodley to walk over Paul due to his far superior credentials which is why many MMA fighters have come forward wanting to fight Paul as a means to defend the sports honor. Another former UFC fighter linked to Paul was Yoel Romero, however, Paul turned this fight down and chose to face Askren instead.

Although Paul is considered to be somewhat of a heel (a fighter everyone loves to hate) in the sport, he donated $1 million of his fight earnings to charity This kind act unfortunately did not stop some harsh words from Masvidal when speaking about a potential fight with Paul "I can always pick this little kid up and slam him through the concrete so hard that he will be invalid for the rest of his life. He wouldn’t be able to walk." Masvidal did, however, state that a fight between the two would not take place any time soon as he is committed to fighting the best fighters in the world at the moment which is not something he considers Jake Paul to be.

Masvidal believes himself to be tougher competition for Paul than Woodley was which is concerning for Paul considering he only beat Woodley via split-decision. A fight between the two would definitely be interesting but fans will have to wait until Jorge Masvidal is ready to take the social media star on.

Until then, Paul will most likely have his plate full with prospective opponents lining up in droves. Tommy Fury, brother to current heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, seems to be next on the cards for Paul. It is, however, quite difficult to know for sure though considering Paul has been linked to fights with Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather, and even Soulja Boy in the past.
