YouTuber Jake Paul is in the news again after several neighbors complained about a massive house party taking place at the Team 10 mansion in Calabasas, Califonia despite coronavirus concerns. Paul -- who was recently caught in a crowd of Arizona looters during the Black Lives Matters protests -- is known for making controversial content and decisions and has previously called out other personalities and celebrities to fight.

The party took place throughout the day and night of Saturday, July 11 with footage from inside the house party being shared via social media from popular TikTokers and YouTubers including Sway House members and Paul's former partner, Tana Mongeau. Their actions led to Paul's neighbors becoming "outraged" by his decision to hold a house party during a pandemic as well as his flagrant disregard to maintaining any sort of social distancing or enforcing COVID-19 related preventative measures.

The mayor of Calabasas, Mayor Alicia Weintraub, shared her anger at the video evidence of the party. She explained how she had been inundated with calls from her constituents alerting her to the house party and stressed how Paul and his friends' disregard for the coronavirus pandemic and recommended safety measures will only delay attempts to get things back to a regular, functioning normal. The Mayor noted how the footage showcases a party filled with people who are acting as though COVID doesn't exist and that businesses aren't closed or suffering because of it.

Mayor Weintraub has since revealed she is working alongside Lost Hill's Sherriff station to implement a zero-tolerance policy on house parties going forward. If one were to go ahead, it would be shut down in violation of health orders with no warning. She stated how "No gatherings will be tolerated like this. Something like this will not happen again."
