Not too long ago, the actor and Tenacious D lead singer, Jack Black, decided to officially start his own gaming channel on the video sharing site, YouTube, with the channel being dubbed Jablinski Games. Now the star of such films as The House with a Clock in Its Walls and School of Rock has finally uploaded the first actual gaming-related footage for his followers to watch, with the video focusing primarily on retro pinball games.

Jablinski Games subscribers are given a look at Black as he takes them on a tour of the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the comedic actor showing off such classic pinball machines as Gottlieb's Ice-Revue, Chicago Coin's Goalee, Allied Leisure's Hoe Down, and more. The now-YouTuber even gives fans a glimpse at more modern machines such as one inspired by the Shrek movies, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, and Seth MacFarlane's Family Guy.

Many who initially subscribed to Jablinski Games likely surmised that Black would play and review contemporary video games on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One, but it appears as if he has decided to zig when everyone expected him to zag. Nevertheless, the YouTube channel has promised to put out a new video each Friday, so perhaps the Tenacious D frontman will soon give his followers an idea of what he thinks about some of his favorite video games of today in newer clips down the line.

All things considered, Black's foray into gaming with Jablinski Games is just the latest piece of evidence of how mainstream the medium has become in terms of popularity and accessibility, as there seems to be quite a bevy of celebrity gamers out there. At any rate, with Jablinski having started his channel out by covering the games of yore, maybe he will make his way toward more cutting edge technology by following up this video with a look at older hardware such as Atari consoles, and then progressively making it to modern platforms.
