The Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise could not be any bigger than it is right now, with new books and games like Security Breach coming every year to build on the surprisingly deep lore Scott Cawthon has created. Based on a new TikTok video, even Jack Black, star of numerous films and the YouTube channel Jablinski Games, has joined the FNAF hype train.

With Jack Black having recently shown Psychonauts 2 gameplay on his popular YouTube channel, working with the comedian has become a clever way to advertise a video game project. The Five Nights at Freddy’s video in question is a good bit different from the Psychonauts 2 gameplay, however, as it makes for quite an interesting ten seconds.

In the video’s description, Jack Black mentions that he "played the new FNAF and it’s pretty good." He is likely referring to Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, the latest game in the series that is set to get a PS5 release. Black having played the game early is the least interesting thing about the post though, as he proceeds to sing and dance in a pair of Five Nights at Freddy’s sweatpants pulled up as far as they can go. If that was not enough, Black also sings a catchy and well-known FNAF song.

Black certainly has moves, and the dance is almost as impressive as the tricks his character pulls off in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2. As he sings “Five Nights at Freddy’s, that’s where I wanna be” in a slightly creepy way, the clip is truly hilarious and shows that Black has just as much of a handle on the TikTok community as he does with YouTube’s viewers. While the clip shows no actual footage of Black playing the game, it fits the style seen on his YouTube channel and still manages to promote the project.

In other Five Nights news, series creator and all-around awesome person Scott Cawthon has announced that he’ll be supporting fans of the series in a big way. If fans make their own FNAF games and art projects, Cawthon will fund and promote the fan creations. The Five Nights at Freddy's developer has proven to be a generous person in the past, making massive Extra Life donations made yearly, so his excellent support for the huge FNAF community he inspired is not too surprising.

The series has become a juggernaut within the industry, with new merchandise such as Funkos always on the way. Love it or hate it (and Jack Black certainly loves it), Five Nights at Freddy’s is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is currently in development for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
