In 2017, Hazelight Studio Founder and It Takes Two Creative Director Josef Fares stole the show at the Video Game Awards when he gave an impassioned, expletive-laden speech promoting his new co-op title A Way Out. The speech has since gone down in history as one of the most memorable moments from the Video Game Awards show. Unfortunately, A Way Out did not include any references to the now notorious speech; however, the outspoken Josef Fares has included the speech in the form of an easter egg that can be found in his new title It Takes Two.

While It Takes Two may not have any in-game collectibles, the title is full of unique and interactive minigames and easter eggs for players to stumble upon. Players can find the Josef Fares easter egg in the "Pillow Fort" chapter. If players happen to have already missed the easter egg, they can easily obtain it by selecting the "Spaced Out" checkpoint through the game's chapter select system.

After unlocking the first anti-gravity shaft, It Takes Two players will float their way up to a new area that features 3 separate portals that must be completed in order to progress through the level. While players can complete the portals in any order, the easter egg can be found by teleporting through the gold portal.

Once Cody and May have teleported to the other side, they will see several stacks of pillow cushions stacked on top of each other. Players must then jump on top of the chair using the inflatable toy before jumping across to the other side towards the desk lamp. Once on the other side, players must maneuver around the pillow cushion directly in front of them, which will lead them to a climbable stack of multiple pillow cushions.

When players have reached the top of the pillow tower, they will then need to leap to the adjacent tower which will have a satellite dish at the top. To operate the dish, only one player needs to interact with the satellite which will allow them to maneuver its direction and pick up any broadcasts in the process.

There are four possible broadcasts that players can pick up while operating the satellite - one from Dr. Hakim to the north, one from Rose to the East, one from Moon Baboon to the West, and most importantly, one from Josef Fares to the South. When players lock onto the signal, they will hear Josef Fares' speech coming through the satellite. Additionally, when players hear each of the mysterious radio frequencies, they will also unlock the "Faraway Frequencies" achievement/trophy in the process.

As one of the best in-game easter eggs in recent memory, it is amazing to think that someone, somewhere, will be playing It Takes Two and will stumble across this easter egg with no idea as to who Josef Fares is, or what the speech is in reference to.

It Takes Two is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
