After a long wait, Iron Man VR's release is finally just a few days away. The Marvel VR title will allow PlayStation VR headset owners the chance to step into Tony Stark's shoes and fly around the world blasting evil robots out of the skies, while fixing up some broken tech from time to time and teaming up with some Agents of SHIELD along the way.

The VR title has grown in scope since it was first announced and actually offers double the play time from what was originally expected. This is great news for VR fans and it will be very interesting to see how well the game is received once the public gets their hands on it.

With the July 3 release date just a short two days away, PlayStation has released one final launch trailer for the game that highlights the action-packed nature of the VR experience. The new Iron Man VR trailer does a great job of quickly introducing the game's story and main villains, while also offering a closer look at some of the action that drives the experience. And of course there is plenty of Tony and Pepper banter and the occasional Stark one-liner to make it really feel like a true Iron Man experience.

Although Marvel's Avengers, arguably the biggest super hero video game title of the year, was hit with some major delays, comic book fans seem like they'll still be able to capture the Avengers spirit with this title. With appearances by some major villains who should be familiar to fans of the MCU, the game is definitely poised to capture a wide audience for users who own the Sony headset.

No other Marvel VR titles are planned at this time, but it will be interesting to see if any others go into development if Iron Man VR does well. With recent rumors swirling around about a PSVR2 for the PS5 era, there could be a whole new age of console VR right around the corner.

When the game arrives later this week, be sure to check back for more strategy guides, updates, and news.
