Fans of Apple's devices are getting a healthy lineup of new products this year, with the company releasing its usual slate of new tablets, smart home devices, and phones. For those that have been looking to upgrade some of their devices, there are now a few more iPhones available for pre-order, rounding out this year's selection.

Over on the Apple Store, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is now available for pre-order, as is the iPhone 12 Mini. The two phones share similar designs, though there are performance differences that separate the two, some of which will be major. Additionally, the iPhone 12 and standard-sized iPhone 12 Pro are both currently available, though deciding which phone to opt for will depend on the user's needs.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max features the largest display Apple has ever included in an iPhone, clocking in at 6.7 inches. However, the device itself about the same size as the iPhone 11 Pro Max, so users upgrading shouldn't expect a massive increase in size to accommodate the new phone. It also features the new flat edge design, just like it's smaller siblings. That makes it the perfect devices for iPhone fans looking for a large display, which has its benefits while playing mobile games and watching videos.

On the opposite end of the size spectrum is the iPhone 12 Mini. As the name implies, the iPhone 12 Mini is much more compact, though it still has a 5.4-inch display. According to Apple, it's the "smallest, thinnest, and lightest" 5G smartphone out there, clearly meant to combine portability with sharp resolutions. It also offers a solid dual camera for its size, so it does have it's own set of advantages.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at $1099, while the iPhone 12 Mini starts at $699. Depending on a user's phone carrier, that price will be slightly different, as most companies will run some sort of activation or trade-in promotion while new devices are rolling out. It is worth remembering that those promotions usually have a good amount of fine print, so it's a good idea to triple check the minor details before getting locked into a contract.

Apple has a "One More Thing" event planned for November 10, where the company is expected to unveil its next models of the MacBook. While that still hasn't been confirmed, an AR invitation to the invite opens in a similar manner to a MacBook, and the company has confirmed it's working on models of MacBooks using its own processors instead of Intel ones.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini are now available for pre-order.
