Injustice Gods Among Us Season Pass

It's become a very common practice as of late to offer a season pass alongside most big-budget video games releases, and the ability to purchase content ahead of its release does provide consumers with a nice little discount. Now Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed plans to launch a season pass for the DC Comics free-for-all, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and it'll offer fans savings on future downloadable characters.

A grand total of four currently unannounced combatants will be made available to those who purchase the pass, and it'll save digital shoppers a total of $5 — provided they already planned on buying all four of the new fighters. So, for those who aren't up to the task of handling the math, this means that the season pass will be made available for $15 (1,200 Microsoft Points). Some probably aren't content with the price of the add-ons, so NetherRealm Studios has thrown in an additional bonus for Injustice: Gods Among Us season pass buyers.

Anyone who invests in the pass will be able to access the exclusive costumes found within the Flash Point Skin Pack. This DLC includes alternate outfits for Wonder Woman, Deathstroke, and Aquaman, which wardrobe aficionados will unquestionably long to add to their collection. Unfortunately, Warner Bros. failed to confirm whether or not the season pass (or any of the downloadable characters for that matter) would be available for the Wii U version of Injustice — although they've yet to officially rule it out.

Of course, now that the season pass for Injustice has been confirmed, gamers are probably wondering which characters will be featured as downloadable add-ons. Despite the confirmation of Black Adam as a playable addition, there are still a number of fan-favorite characters that are missing in action from the game's supercharged roster.

Who do you hope the four DLC characters for Injustice are? Will you pick up the newly announced season pass?
