Injustice Gods Among Us Full Roster

Gamers looking to get the full scoop on Injustice: Gods Among Us' full roster should look no further. Late yesterday, a developer at NetherRealm Studios tweeted out a picture of the fully functioning roster, before promptly taking it down.

However, as we all know, once it goes up on the Internet, it likely never goes away. And so we now have the game's character selection screen to pore over.

While it doesn't outright reveal any new roster additions, the character screen for Injustice does confirm three characters that had only been rumored: Killer Frost, Ares, and Hawkgirl (who had actually been featured in a brief video). It's also important to mention that although he is cut-off from view, that top left character is The Flash — one of the first characters announced for Injustice.

As far as these new confirmations — Ares, Killer Frost, and Hawkgirl — it's easy to see why NetherRealm has saved them for last. While each has a role to play opposite, or alongside, some of DC Comics most prominent figures, they're not as high profile as the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, or Batman.

Still, that's the beauty of a game like Injustice — the uninformed can learn about characters they never knew existed, maybe even read a comic or two that features them, and the devoted comic fan can see some lesser known characters brought to life.

With only 10 days left until the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, NetherRealm is likely moving fast to push trailers out for each of these characters. Or maybe they want to keep them a secret.

For now, they are focused on the final round of their epic superhero showdown, which (unsurprisingly) features a mano-y-supermano battle between Batman and Superman. After making quick work of the likes of Harley Quinn, Joker, Bane, and Nightwing (just to name a few), the two are poised to face-off once again.

Stick tuned for more info about these confirmed characters, and hopefully a trailer for each.

Which character are you most excited to play as: Hawkgirl, Ares, or Killer Frost? If NetherRealm did character DLC who would you like to see join the roster?

Injustice: Gods Among Us releases April 16, 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
