Not too long ago, Injustice 2 developer NetherRealm Studios made a lot of fixes with a July patch for the fighting game that delivered a huge list of improvements to the title's maps, characters, and its user interface. Now, it looks as if the company is setting its sights on adding a new Premier Skin to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release by updating – or perhaps "downgrading" to be more accurate in this case – Superman with a brand new Bizarro look.

As found below in the tweet from the official Twitter account for Injustice 2, Bizarro can be seen with his signature backwards "S" poorly stitched on the tights stretching across his chest, along with his chalky gray skin and glowing blue eyes. While this could simply be Premier Skin for Superman – which would include new moves for Kal-El – it's also possible that NetherRealm Studios might be teasing Bizarro as a full-fledged character all on his own.

Just recently, the Injustice 2 version of Bizarro was seen on the receiving end of a beat down by the alien princess of Tamaran, Starfire, during the debut of her first trailer for the fighting game at San Diego Comic-Con 2017. Of course, with the footage focusing primarily on the DC heroine, Bizarro didn't get too many hits in edgewise, but he was seen using moves that are the opposite of Superman's with a fire breath blast instead of a freezing one, and a icy blue eye-beam instead of a red hot laser.

Beyond the forthcoming inclusion of Bizarro and Starfire, Injustice 2 will also likely add the Aquaman arch-nemesis Black Manta in the title's Fighter Pack 2 sometime down the line. So, taking into account these and the other pieces of post-launch DLC released for Injustice 2 so far, it's safe to say that NetherRealm Studios intends to ensure that fans are flush with content for quite some time.

Injustice 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
