As one of the main attractions for Sony's current-gen console, Sucker Punch's upcoming PS4 exclusive inFAMOUS: Second Son understandably has a lot of people intrigued. With a new protagonist and a brand new setting in a painstakingly recreated Seattle, the third game in the inFAMOUS franchise should be welcoming both to fans of the previous games and newcomers to the series. It also offers great graphics with motion-captured performances.

No matter how photo-realistic games might get however, nothing quite beats the fun of a live-action trailer. If nothing else, it works as a great inspiration for cosplayers who want to bring their favorite video game characters to life. The latest live-action trailer for inFAMOUS: Second Son features a cheeky Delsin Rowe winding up the Department of Unified Protection (DUP), drawing them out onto the streets of Seattle before pulling off his explosive finishing move.

It's not uncommon for fictional characters to respond to their discovery of incredible powers with expressions of great woe - complaining that their abilities are a curse and they just want to be normal. Delsin is not one of those characters. Having stated in a previous trailer that he literally can't think of any drawbacks to having awesome superpowers, this live-action trailer sees him showing off his gifts with a real sense of joy.

Perhaps a little too much joy. One of the trademarks of the inFAMOUS series is the binary paths of good and evil that are presented to the player, offering them the chance to use their powers selfishly or as a positive force in the world. The DUP aren't exactly the good guys, but in this trailer Delsin himself comes across as decidedly Joker-esque; his graffiti might not read "Why so serious?" but it still betrays a pretty dark sense of humor.

inFAMOUS: Second Son's influences include skateboarding games, and Delsin's status as a street artist who's constantly getting into trouble marks him very much as someone on the wrong side of society's approval. Sucker Punch has also promised a story that is pretty direct with its portrayal of a government fearmongering its citizens into giving up their liberty with the boogeyman of bioterrorism. If they play it right, then inFAMOUS: Second Son is definitely likely to get people talking.

inFAMOUS: Second Son is available for PS4 on March 21, 2014.
