In surprising news, there will be a physical release of Indivisible for the North American market. Despite the game's developer Lab Zero Games dissolvingIndivisible's publisher 505 Games has confirmed that the action RPG platformer will arrive to North American retailers on December 1st for the Nintendo Switch.

This news comes as a relief to fans of the crowdfunded RPG, which received a Switch port earlier this year that was released missing key features including New Game+ and co-op. These features were later added through updates.

The future of Indivisible was left in jeopardy after Lab Zero Games dissolved following allegations that founder Mike "Mike Z" Zaimont created an "unsafe work environment" through racist jokes, sexual harassment, and general abusive behavior. Earlier this year, Zaimont made an inappropriate comment on stream referencing the death of George Floyd.

Despite this tumultuous period, there is some light at the end of the tunnel for IndivisibleThe game will be adapted for television by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Meg LeFauve and Star Trek: Enterprise's Jonathan Fernandez.

As for the former employees of Lab Zero Games, many of them went on to form their own studio, Future Club. The studio currently consists of fifteen former Lab Zero Employees who are taking active steps to prevent a repeat of what happened at their previous workplace. Though Future Club currently has no projects in the works, it is expected to continue the lineage of hand-drawn animated games.

Indivisible is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, with the physical release for the Switch arriving December 1st.
