Longtime PC owners know the drill by now. Whenever a major game is slated to come to the platform, there’s always the question of whether one’s PC will be able to run it. With that in mind, Ubisoft has provided an answer for Immortals Fenyx Rising, laying out the specs players will need to handle its Greek mythology-based action-adventure game on all settings.

Immortals will round off Ubisoft’s slate of holiday open-world titles following Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and while console players will only have to worry about how much space Fenyx Rising will take up, things are a bit more involved on PC. Fortunately, most PC owners won’t have to worry about not being able to run the game, as the minimum requirements are rather accessible.

Ubisoft detailed the five settings the game will support. On the lowest one, which targets a 720p resolution and 30fps framerate, the game should work easily on pretty much any modest gaming PC, and players will even be able to launch it in Windows 7. The game won’t demand a lot of storage space either, clocking in at 28GB, though Ubisoft recommends players use a SSD for all but the lowest setting. As for RAM, the required amount will vary between 8-16GB depending on the setting.

In addition to the specs, Ubisoft has released a new video diving into how the company is trying to create “a fully fledged PC experience” for Immortals Fenyx Rising.

It won’t come as a surprise that players will need higher-end hardware to run the game at the highest possible quality. Also worth pointing out is that while Ubisoft didn’t include requirements for running 4K resolution at 60fps, players will be able to hit the highest refresh rates that their monitors are capable of thanks to an uncapped framerate option. This is just one of the PC-specific features that the game will support, which include multi-monitor and widescreen support, an in-game benchmark tool, and “in-depth customization options.”

Technical requirements aside, Immortals is shaping up to the open-world game players need right now. Although it has joined Genshin Impact in the list of 2020 titles that have been compared to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, what Ubisoft has shown of the game’s stylish combat and humorous storytelling look set to help it stand out and offer a more lighthearted and refreshing break from the stressful year 2020 has been.

Immortals Fenyx Rising will launch on December 3 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
