Immortals Fenyx Rising is Ubisoft's upcoming fantasy adventure game where players take the role of the Greek soldier Fenyx to liberate the Gods of Olympus and save the world. Recently, Ubisoft announced that the Greek-inspired Immortals Fenyx Rising has a season pass that comes with three post-launch expansions.
This is all part of Ubisoft Quebec's post-launch roadmap for Immortals Fenyx Rising. The season pass for the game includes three story-driven DLC stories: A New God, Myths of the Eastern Realm, and The Lost Gods. Each will offer new stories, brand new locations, showcase a new character for the player, and new combat gameplay to go with them. Players are able to pre-order the season pass now and those who do will receive the bonus quest, When the Road Gets Rocky, that comes with in-game rewards.
The first expansion is A New God and takes place after the game's main campaign. It expands on Immortals' take on Greek mythology as Fenyx is tested by the Gods of Olympus in order to join them. Players will be able to visit Olympus, the home of the Olympians themselves, and face various challenges set by Zeus and the gods. By completing these challenges, Fenyx will have the opportunity to change the world as well as the Greek pantheon itself, though how is not revealed.
The second expansion is Myths of the Eastern Realm, where the game shifts from the setting of the Golden Isle and Olympus to that of Chinese mythology. Players will take the role of Ku, a new hero who embarks on a journey rooted in the founding of Chinese mythology. The expansion will show off new gameplay from Immortals, new locations, exotic creatures and figures to face, and new challenges for Ku to overcome.
The third expansion, The Lost Gods, takes things back to Fenyx and the worlds of the Greek Gods, but this time players are a brand new warrior called Ash. Ash is a soldier on a quest assigned by Fenyx to find the "lost Gods" of the Greek pantheon and bring balance back to the world. This expansion provides a new top-down, isometric perspective for Immortals' open-world while playing as Ash. It adds a new progression system that will allow players to experiment with their own desired play style in the game.
Then there's the bonus quest When the Road Gets Rocky, where players resume the role of Fenyx and team up with the trickster Olympian Hermes on a brand new quest. Also, all players will gain access to daily free content: daily & weekly quests, community contests, vault challenges, cosmetics and more. Either way, Ubisoft Quebec has plenty of post-launch content for players to enjoy that will expand the world and enjoyment of Immortals Fenyx Rising.
Immortals Fenyx Rising will release December 3 on PC, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
