In 2016, I Expect You to Die came to PlayStation VR and solidified itself as one of the most immersive and well-designed VR experiences available. Since then, virtual reality has made leaps and bounds in terms of becoming more accessible, being more realistic, and generally a better experience. For this reason, PSVR players will no doubt be thrilled to hear that the sequel, I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and the Liar will be coming to PSVR sometime this year.

In the original, players used their enhanced telekinetic powers and problem-solving skills to get past a variety of dangerous puzzles. The entire experience was deeply steeped in a fun, spy-themed aesthetic, and players found it really easy to get into character as a spy. Now, I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and the Liar is looking to bring that feeling back to life, this time with a brand-new story and challenges to tackle.

In January of 2021, Schell Games announced I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and the Liar, but it wasn't fully clear then which platforms it would be available on. Now PSVR fans don't have to worry, as they won't be left behind on this second crazy adventure. Aside from this, there weren't too many details revealed, although Schell Games does hint that there may be a secret message in its article.

While avid fans try to decode what this secret message might be, others can use this as an opportunity to go back and play I Expect You to Die again. Since the game's launch, new missions were added, and there are also still the challenging Souvenirs to unlock for each level.

I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and the Liar releases in 2021 for PCVR and PSVR.
