Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity took the formula its predecessor created and arguably built an even better game for the fans. The game is already on track to outsell Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition within the UK.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity expands the series in a new direction, breaking away from the typical Legend of Zelda mold Nintendo is accustomed to. However, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity still keeps the wide ensemble of charming characters fans all know and love from the series.

Many gamers wondered what Legend of Zelda character from the series Nintendo was going to introduce next into the game, but that wait might be over. Dataminers have extracted unused voice clips from inside the game that has characters from the game call out other unreleased characters' names, possibly hinting at future DLC inclusions.

The first part of the datamine leak includes Zelda calling out the names of Purah and Robbie, the two Sheikah researchers from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Another scrapped voice line involved Maz Koshia calling out to Astor, the villain of the game. And lastly, Daruk calling out to Sooga, who is in second in command of the Yiga clan. Purrah and Robbie are both NPC characters for missions in the game, and Astor and Sooga are functional bosses in the game that the player can fight against. It would not be crazy to think that Nintendo would plan to make them available to the player.

The possibility of these four characters being introduced with future DLC seems more likely since there are also voice lines of Purah and Robbie calling out current playable characters' names within the game. Those other characters mentioned by Purah and Robbie are Sidon, Yunobo, Hestu, and Master Monk. The delivery of the lines also suggests that this is how Purrah and Robbie would introduce them onto the battlefield when switching out of battle.

Some gamers are suggesting that these lines might have been unused because Nintendo could not figure out what to do with the characters and purposefully scrapped them from the game. However, the professional quality of the lines and the fact that they are stored where the clips of the usable character are hints otherwise. Whatever the case may be, fans will most likely be getting an extended DLC Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity character roster whether it involves these characters or not. Hopefully, gamers will be pleased with whatever characters Nintendo offers to them.
