Killua is one of the main characters of Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter series. Introduced in the Hunter Exam arc as one of the competitors, he went on to become great friends with Gon, the main character of the story, and has been incredibly important to the plot ever since.
Thanks to his background, Killua is also a ferocious fighter and someone who even Hunter x Hunter's expert Nen users fear in combat. Being one of the most popular characters in the series, fans know quite a lot about Killua, however, due to his quiet demeanor at times, there are things that not every fan has noticed.
9 Killua's Age
Upon his introduction in Hunter x Hunter, Killua Zoldyck was 11 years old, and he has grown quite a bit since then. According to him, he was almost 12 when he sat the first Hunter exam. As fans know, Killua ended up taking it again a year and a half later, meaning, he was 13 or 14 years of age at the time.
Since then, quite a bit of time has passed and currently, Killua should be somewhere between 14 and 15 years of age. While he hasn't made an appearance in the story after the Chairman Election arc, fans expect to see more of him in the upcoming arcs soon.
8 Killua's Family
Killua is one of the most important characters in the world of Hunter x Hunter and much of that has to do with his family. He comes from a family of assassins known as the Zoldyck family.
This group, led by Silva Zoldyck, is known to be filled with tremendously powerful characters and has, at one point or the other, had powerful people rise from their ranks. Killua, Silva's third-youngest child, holds the most potential out of all his children, which sets up great things for him as a character going forward.
7 Killua's Skill

After obtaining his Hunter license, Killua was officially a rookie Hunter and to this day, he holds that rank. However, his skill is far above the likes of average rookies. Over the course of time, he has become powerful enough to take on even seasoned Hunters without much problem and kill them.
In the Chimera Ant arc, Killua went on to gain tremendous powers that made him even most powerful, allowing him to momentarily trade blows with the likes of the Royal Guards of Meruem.
6 Killua's Nen Type
Killua is a Transmutation type of Nen user, as proven when he was able to change the taste of water during the water divination test. This means Killua has the ability to change the properties of his aura and make it mimic something entirely different.
At the same time, Killua can also alter the shape of his Nen aura, and over time, he has mastered this skill significantly well. With his immense skills when it comes to Transmutation Nen, Killua has been seen transmuting his aura into electricity on several occasions.
5 Killua's Strongest Abilities

Carrying great potential, it is no surprise to know that Killua is an exceptionally powerful Nen user. Over the years, he's learned enough about this power to a point where he has created a few powerful signature techniques. Killua's strongest technique is Godspeed, which increases his speed in combat drastically by making use of his electrical aura.
Godspeed itself is a combination of two Nen techniques, namely Whirlwind, which allows Killua to make his movements automatic on responding to external stimuli, and Speed of Lightning, which lets him stay in control of his body even when he moves at extremely high speeds.
4 Electricity Resistance
Ever since a very young age, Killua was trained by his family to resist electricity. Due to the intense training that he went through, he's become almost immune to electricity, as seen on several occasions throughout the Hunter x Hunter series.
Killua can resist voltages of electricity that have previously proved to be strong enough to stun decent users of Nen, such as Sub. Furthermore, he could also resist voltages that proved to be a problem for the likes of Menthuthuyoupi, one of the Royal Guards of the Chimera Ant Army.
3 Poison Resistance
Killua also has incredible resistance to many poisons, toxins, and even chemicals, and all that is thanks to the torture that he's endured as a part do the Zoldyck Family while growing up.
During the Hunter Exams arc, fans could see Killua being unfazed after consuming the drinks that the Hunter x Hunter villain Tonpa gave him, which would've made other participants instantly drop out of the exams by dehydrating them. Against Mosquito, Killua once again mentioned that the toxins being used on his body simply didn't faze him.
2 Killua's Assassin Mode
Killua also has an incredibly powerful fighting mode known as Assassin Mode. Although he doesn't always use it, when he does, he enters an extremely focused state where all his skills are heightened to a whole new level.
As the name suggests, in this state, Killua simply focuses on killing his enemies, and to do so, he removes all hesitation from his heart. According to Killua, when in this state, there's certainly a difference in power there when compared to his regular state.
1 Amazing Nen Control
Although Killua doesn't have the highest Nen output, his control over this power is nothing short of tremendous and something that even expert users fail to achieve throughout their lifetimes.
Upon facing Razor, Killua could distribute his Nen evenly across his body with a margin of error lower than 1%, something that shocked even Bisky. According to her, gaining this level of mastery wasn't even possible for her before her twenties. Since then, Killua's control over his Nen has only grown better.
