One Piece Odyssey is set to give fans of the long-running anime and manga series the chance to live out a story in the Blue Sea. As with any other major video game release, fans are wondering how much bang the game offers for the buck.

One Piece Odyssey is a turn-based RPG. Japanese RPGs can be notoriously long, running well past 100 hours in the cases of games like Persona 5 Royal and Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance. That has many questioning what kind of time commitment One Piece Odyssey is going to call for.

While other games have limited requirements beyond beating the game and potentially seeing multiple endings, this one seemingly wants fans to truly complete the game. This includes leveling every One Piece Odyssey character past level 70, using different characters’ skills a number of times, and gathering power cubes.

An exact estimate on how long completing the game takes is unknown, but players are likely in for a grind if they want to complete One Piece Odyssey.

One Piece Odyssey launches on January 13 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
