2020 has been an odd year, to say the very least. But that doesn't mean that it cannot come with fun toys and enjoyable experiences, especially for Star Wars fans.

As the entertainment and gaming world has been affected by COVID-19, companies are finding new ways to share new content with fans. Mattel would have shared new toys at Comic-Con if it were not for the event being canceled. But the show must go on, and Mattel has unveiled a brand new X-Wing Hot Wheels toy.

The X-Wing is one of the most iconic creations in Star Wars, and in all of pop culture, really. The awesome new Hot Wheels X-Wing will cost $25 and goes on sale on Thursday, July 23. The item is designed to be both a fun toy and a collector's item, perfect for young kid fans of Star Wars and adult kids who like to collect things from their own childhood.

Mattel launched a film division in 2018 to create toys based on movies. With Star Wars being perhaps the most famous film series ever, toys based on the movies make sense.
