A new horror game, Unholy, is hitting the stage next year, and its first trailer arrives, appropriately, in October, just in time to give fans nightmares.

This terrifying new title is touted as a mix of horror and stealth, which should add a refreshing change of pace from the typical FPS horror games. In Unholy, players will take the role of Saidah, who is looking for her abducted child in a place called the last city. Naturally, it is a horrifying place to visit, and Saidah will have to do everything she can to reclaim her child and make it out of the city alive.

The Unholy trailer begins in a creepy-looking nursery, where a dark lullaby playing ominously in the background. Quickly, it transitions to the point of view of the protagonist as she navigates a twisted, grotesque world straight out of Lovecraftian fiction. Though it doesn't appear to focus on the psychological aspects that horror games like Call of Cthulhu do.

This is the first title from Duality Games, which was founded just last year and consists of industry veterans. Let's hope this turns out to be a great start for the fledgling studio. For more information on the title, head on over to Steam.

For another added dose of spookiness, be sure to check out the Festival of the Lost, which is returning to Destiny 2 this week. Bungie has added plenty of content to the event this year, including daily bounties, plenty of festival masks, and a new Horror Story Legendary Auto Rifle to acquire. There is also a new PvE mode called the Haunted Forest, which is a spookier version of the Infinite Forest that tasks Guardians with delving as far as they can in 15 minutes for fabulous prizes.

If that isn't creepy enough, Halloween Terror is back on Overwatch, offering a plethora of fresh Halloween skins for players' favorite heroes. Junkenstein's Revenge is back as well, but offers nothing new this year, unfortunately. For the event, many of the stages have been decked out with Halloween decor. Some even go a step further, taking place at night instead of day or adding new music and atmosphere. But, let's be honest, this event is really all about the skins, and this year the lineup is fantastic.

Overwatch is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
