Horizon Forbidden West is set to launch this coming Friday, February 18, and will serve as yet another major PlayStation exclusive game. Horizon Forbidden West reviews have been overwhelmingly positive so far, with the game standing out as the top-rated new release for 2022 to date. Fans still have to wait a few days to get their hands on the game for themselves, but it seems that major spoilers are making their way online.

Various trophy tracking websites have started posting the trophies for Horizon Forbidden West. Some of the trophies are obvious, with players rewarded for leveling Aloy, taking over Rebel Camps, overriding Tallnecks, defeating the various machines in Horizon Forbidden West, and generally just playing the game. And while main story quest trophies are still hidden from view, trophies involving side quests are there for the world to see, complete with spoilers.

There are some major Horizon Forbidden West spoilers that players can see if they look at the full trophy list, so it would be better to avoid it for now. Some of the spoilers aren't that big of a deal and won't give players much context, but others will ruin some of the side content and one spoils a big moment from late in the game's main story. Horizon Forbidden West spoilers were already a concern because of previous leaks, so now fans of the game should especially be careful on social media in the days ahead.

For those who haven't been following Horizon Forbidden West, the game takes place after the events of Zero Dawn as Aloy finds herself trying to save the world from a new threat. That's all that players really need to know about Horizon Forbidden West's story because otherwise it will lessen the impact of key story moments. It's best to go in knowing as little about the actual plot as possible, just that Forbidden West picks up where the original game left off.

It's unfortunate that the Horizon Forbidden West trophies spoil some aspects of the game, but they do offer an idea of what to expect for someone that wants to complete everything. As shown by the trophies, Horizon Forbidden West has a number of important side quests that players can complete, not to mention Cauldrons that teach them how to override machines, and much more to keep players busy.

Fans will be able to jump into Horizon Forbidden West's massive open world and experience it all for themselves soon enough.
