Nights of Lights is just one of many side quests in Horizon Forbidden West. It's handed out by Stemmur in Dunehollow, though only becomes available once players have recovered POSEIDON from the old Vegas ruins. As well as rewarding players with experience and skill points, completing the quest is also key to uncovering the secrets that lie behind the mysterious ornaments found in Relic Ruins right throughout the Forbidden West.

After initiating Horizon Forbidden West's Nights of Lights side quest, players will need to head back down to the Vegas ruins. There, they'll be led to an old casino, where a locked door prevents them from getting their hands on yet another Relic Ruins ornament. In order to open it, they'll need a six-digit door code, which can either be found by solving puzzles elsewhere in the ruins or reading on just a little further down the page.

What is the Nights of Lights Door Code?

For those who just want to get on with things, the Nights of Lights door code is 739135. Entering this code will unlock the door immediately; allowing players to grab the ornament and return to Stemmur without needing to explore the rest of the ruins. Anyone who'd prefer to find the code the intended way, on the other hand, is going to need to complete a Relic Ruins style puzzle and find the necessary Datapoints to figure out the code for themselves.

How to Find the Nights of Lights Door Code

To find the Nights of Lights door code, players should look for a grapple point near the locked door and then follow the staircase up. They'll eventually find themselves in an area with some metal cages and should scan the Malfunction Datapoint directly in front of them when they do. This will reveal that the second half of the code is 135.

After scanning the Datapoint, players should climb through the gap in the nearby fence and look for two stacked crates inside a small metal cage. Moving round to the right side of the cage will allow players to drag the top crate off using the Pullcaster, which will in turn enable them to move the bottom one out through the gap at the front. Players can then pull the top crate down into the spot where the other one started via the left side of the cage, before also removing it from the gap at the front.

Now that both crates are free, players should look for the nearby wooden structure and push one of the crates into the spot to the left of the ramp. They'll then need to push the second crate up the ramp and on top of the first one to reassemble the stack. While they're here, players should also look for a hole in the side of the metal cage opposite the ramp and fire the Pullcaster through it to move a third crate down to the floor.

With all of that taken care of, players can now pull the crate stack back a little and use it to get on top of the nearby metal cage via a gap in the fence at the top. From there, they'll be able to drop down the side of the cage and get inside, where they'll find a ventilation shaft in the floor. Opening this up with Pullcaster will allow them to enter the vent, which will eventually lead them back outside to a sandy upper-floor balcony.

Pulling the blue metal frame out of the wall here will grant players access to an office containing the RSVP Datapoint. Scanning and reading this will reveal that the first part of the door code is 739, meaning that players should now have the full six-digit code (739135). From here, it's a simple case of returning to the locked door down below and entering the code to unlock the door. Doing so will grant access to the Christmas-themed Gizmo ornament on the other side, which needs to be taken back to Stemmur in Dunehollow in order to complete the quest.

Horizon Forbidden West is available now on PS4 and PS5.
