As players work their way through Horizon Forbidden West, they will accept and complete a variety of unique quests. While some of these missions are entirely optional, others are used to advance the game's main story and cannot be skipped. This Horizon Forbidden West mission list will showcase the extent of both of these types of quests, and it will give fans a sense of what they can expect as they progress.

Main Story Missions

Horizon Forbidden West's main story unfolds over the course of 17 missions, and players should expect to get through it in around 25 hours. Here is a list of those main story missions, and the recommended level for each of them has been indicated:

Other Activities

While not technically quests, players will encounter many other types of activities as they explore the map. These activities include timed challenges, combat-focused trials, and outposts to be cleared. There are also dungeons called Cauldrons and Relic Ruins puzzles in Horizon Forbidden West, which will extend a fan's playtime even further.
