Although the custom console is not the newest Xbox Series X, the design more than makes up for the older technology. The custom Xbox One X resembles a treasure chest with a gold lock in the front. The custom Hood: Outlaws and Legends Xbox One X has a feature that may be a first for any console. The treasure chest console can be opened, revealing a space to house the custom controller. The creator behind the unique console is Vadu Amka, a graphic artist with an amazing portfolio of custom video game hardware.

Amka has partnered with a variety of developers for custom works of art including a Little Nightmares 2 custom Nintendo Switch console, a Spider-Man: Miles Morales custom PS5, an Assassin's Creed Valhalla controller, and more. The winner of the Hood: Outlaws and Legends contest will be receiving a real work of art, and possibly Amka's most impressive project.

The gameplay revealed for Hood: Outlaws and Legends looks impressive, with fast gameplay and a balance between PvE and PvP elements. Various objectives, maps, and classes will keep each match dynamic with new ways to play every time. Although the contest will still be running when Hood: Outlaws and Legends releases, players can still pick up the game for only $29.99, or get the Year 1 Battle Pass pack for $49.99.

The latest trailer for Hood: Outlaws and Legends shows off a little bit more of the tactical side of gameplay. Four classes are detailed, each having different perks, abilities, and roles. A developer explains what tasks each class takes on during matches and how the matches play out. Being an online multiplayer game, fans will be able to squad up with their friends to take on medieval heists in Hood: Outlaws and Legends.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends releases May 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
