While completing the Ones Fallen Into The Abyss Quest in Honkai: Star Rail, players will encounter a strange robot near a broken elevator while exploring the mines. The machine will play a huge role later on in the Quest as it will help fix a fractured Mine Cart by locating a missing Pin and a Wheelset that once belonged to the broken Mine Cart.
The robot has an extremely long name but reveals its nickname to be Findie in Honkai: Star Rail. It turns out that Findie is a Home-Use Object Finder that’s designed to find hidden objects using certain techniques. How To Search For The Mine Cart Parts In Honkai Star Rail
To search for the Mine Cart parts, players must use Findie to find the hidden objects, which are the Mine Cart Pin and the Mine Cart Wheelset. First, to find the Mine Cart Pin:
- Place Findie near the broken cart to reveal the object’s general location.
- Follow the Green beam northwest to see a chest.
- Place Findie again near the chest to guide players southeast.
- Use the Finder one more time to reveal the Mine Cart Pin.
Starting from the Calyx (Golden): Bud of Treasures location, place Findie and complete the following steps to gather the Mine Cart Wheelset:
- Head southwest where the green beam is leading.
- Place the Finder again near the crate of yellow crystals.
- Investigate the spot to get the Mine Cart Wheelset.
Upon acquiring all necessary parts in Honkai: Star Rail, return to the broken Mine Cart and fix it. To continue deeper into the mines and find Oleg, push the cart to enter through the previously blocked entrance. Be careful while exploring as a fight with one of Svarog’s underlings, Automaton Direwolf, will be the first thing players experience upon diving deeper into the mines.
How To Use Findie In Honkai Star Rail
To properly use Findie, players need to know how it works and what each color means. For starters, when Findie shines a Red beam while locating treasures, this means that the object is far away and Trailblazers need to move in the beam’s general direction to place Findie again. As for the Green beam, the treasure is in proximity and players only need to move slightly in the beam’s direction to re-place Findie.
A great method to find an object quickly is to place two Findies to figure out the intersection point where the guiding beams meet. After that, place Findie again at the intersection point to find the hidden item. Eventually, the Home-Use Object Finder will hover over the buried object and players can Investigate the spot to retrieve the treasure.
