11 Void Wick Trimmer
- Effect: After obtaining this Curio, randomly repairs up to 2 destroyed Curio(s) and restores their remaining uses to default.
Void Wick Trimmer is really niche in Honkai: Star Rail since players need to have two destroyed Curios before it can actually be useful. However, if people got things like Dimension Reduction Dice and Fortune Glue early, this niche item can be crazy powerful. Unfortunately, as it’s really situational and getting a Curio is a random occasion, Void Wick Trimmer has to settle with the bottom of the top list.
10 Beacon Coloring Paste
- Effect: When choosing a Blessing after winning a battle, randomly level up 1 Blessing(s) among the selection.
Beacon Coloring Paste is somewhat similar to the Warping Compound Eye. However, unlike the Compound Eye that level up all 1-star Blessings that appear, Beacon Coloring Paste instead enhances only one, but it’s random; this means, players may land the upgrade on their desired 3-star Blessing. This Curio deeply depends on RNG, but if combined with other Curio like Dimension Reduction Dice that reduce the selection to two, players have a higher chance of getting a free enhanced Blessing.
9 Chaos Trametes
- Effect: When choosing your Blessings after winning a battle, increase the number of free Blessing resets by 1.
Chaos Trametes is a brilliant Curio for players who wish to stack on one Path as it allows people to reset the Blessing pool for free, which means people will save 30 Fragments every time. Although 30 seems small, 5 resets are almost equal to one 3-star upgrade at the end of the Respite room, so don’t underestimate it.
8 Obliteration Wick Trimmer
- Effect: Upon entering battle, increase all allies' DMG by 3% for every destructible object that has been destroyed.
Even if players don’t find joy in destroying objects, they should still do so in the Simulated Universe as the destructible item will grant Cosmic Fragment, which can be used for various things in the challenge. Obliteration Wick Trimmer gives players more reason to destroy objects, especially when combined with another Curio like the Omniscient Capsule, which causes breakable objects to appear more frequently and grant double reward.
7 Shining Trapezohedron Die
- Effect: Replaces all Curios currently in possession (including this Curio) with random Curios.
Shining Trapezohedron Die is situational, but most of the time, it’s a brilliant Curio to take. It allows people to replace broken Curios like Fortune Glue and Dimension Reduction Dice, and can also replace negative Curios with positive ones. So if players ever got stuck with harmful Curios like Divination Cuckoo Clock, got sick of the Insect Web, or want to replace a Sealing Wax, simply take Shining Trapezohedron Die to replace them with a random positive Curio. However, note that all Curios will be replaced upon taking this one, so if there’s one item players are desperate to hold on to, it’s best to not take the Shining Trapezohedron Die.
6 The Doctor's Robe
- Effect: Upon entering battle, regenerates Path Resonance Energy to max and increases Path Resonance DMG by 40%.
The Doctor’s Robe allows people to mindlessly use Path Resonance even against small enemies as it will always be maxed in the next fight and there’s no limit to it. Additionally, the Resonance DMG will increase by a large 40%, which can be even more noticeable if the Resonance can Crit. However, sadly, this Curio is useless if players are pursuing the Path of Abundance as Abundance focuses mostly on healing, not dealing damage.
5 Record From Beyond The Sky
- Effect: Upon entering battle, all allies will nullify all DMG received except for DoT until after they are attacked, and cannot be debuffed for 3 turn(s).
Record From Beyond the Sky is amazing if players encounter a hard-hitting boss that moves first as it will nullify all damage and debuff for the first three turns. This Curio immensely helps in the early battle, especially against enemies that can CC the team. However, if players are using characters that constantly move (like the combination of Seele + Bronya), the Curio’s effect will be depleted quickly, so it’s important to use it accordingly.
4 Infinitely Recursive Code
- Effect: This Curio makes characters' Basic ATK recover extra Skill Points.
Code Curios are always given in a chamber with three enemies, which means players can fix it immediately. Before getting fixed, the Codes will give negative effects, but afterward will grant tremendous positive buffs. Before being fixed, Infinitely Recursive Code takes one extra Skill Point when Skill is cast, so two points will be consumed instead of one (although players can still consume one point if they only have one Skill Point). However, after it’s fixed, Basic ATK will recover two Skill Points instead of one.
3 Dimension Reduction Dice
- Effect: When choosing your Blessings after winning a battle, 1 extra Blessing(s) can be chosen, but the number of available Blessings will be reduced by 1. This Curio will be destroyed once this effect has been triggered 2 times.
Although it takes one choice away from the player, Dimension Reduction Dice quickly makes up for it by granting one extra pool afterward, which allows people to choose two Blessings out of four instead of one out of three. Players can also refresh each pool, which increases the chance of getting the desired Blessing.
2 Fortune Glue
- Effect: When choosing your Blessings after winning a battle, all Blessings that appear are guaranteed to be of 3-star rarity. This Curio will be destroyed once this effect has been triggered 1 time.
If players are aiming for a specific 3-star Blessing, Fortune Glue is easily their best friend. This Curio is especially excellent when combined with other items like Chaos Trametes and Beacon Coloring Paste that give free refresh and a random level up. With the Void Wick Trimmer, players can even fix this Curio, making it usable one extra time.
1 Galactic Big Lotto
- Effect: After destroying destructible objects, there is a small chance of receiving 1 Curio, but also a small chance of destroying this Curio and all characters losing 99% of their current HP.
Galactic Big Lotto is a high-risk high-reward item that can be really funny for players who are absurdly lucky. With this Curio, players may get more items than they can imagine, at least until the item consumes the team’s HP by 99%. Fortunately, regaining the lost HP is not hard if Physical Trailblazer is in the team, making the high-risk a medium-risk instead.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
