Honkai: Star Rail is full of missions for players to complete, and some of them involve stories about the many companions that the Astral Express crew gets to meet during their interstellar adventure. One such character is Pitch-Dark Hook the Great, one of the children living in Belobog's Underworld who is often up to some form of mischief.

However, it's not always fun and games in the Underworld, and there comes a time when even the most beneficent leader of the Moles must ask an outsider for help. Hook's Treasure is a short companion mission that sheds some light on this character's background as well as the overall quality of life that the people of the Underworld toil through every day. Here's a quick guide for this Honkai: Star Rail side quest.

Starting the Quest

After reaching Trailblaze Level 21, Hook will send the player a request for help. Speak to her in Boulder Town to kick off the companion mission.

The first few parts of this quest will have Hook and the player traveling to Rivet Town in search of an old treasure Hook left behind. Instead, they find Julian, one of the other members of the Moles. He threatens the two into helping him find his own treasure, or else he'll rat them both out to Natasha, the town's resident doctor.

With no choice but to comply, the player must scour the monster-infested ghost town in hopes of satisfying both children's requests.

Where to Find Julian's Treasure

Speak with Hook after arriving at Rivet Town to start the treasure hunt. There will be a few Fragmentum monsters on the way to the objective marker, so take them out quickly and move on. Upon reaching the main street, the objective marker will be replaced by a yellow search ring. Ignore everything and interact with the table in the middle to get Julian's treasure.

This part is somewhat easy to miss, especially if players are rushing to get quests done. Investigate the shining light to trigger a scene where Hook gives the Trailblazer a brief history lesson on one of the Moles' defining moments. After that, players will obtain a Bottle of Marbles and a Rusted Key.

Where to Find Hook's Treasure

Hook's treasure is right past the blocked-off street. Go down the alleyway to the right and keep going until another scene triggers. Once Hook starts frantically running around, head to the pile of Geomarrow crates near the mine entrance. Investigate it to find an old drill rig that was given to Hook as a gift by one of her dad's co-workers. Unfortunately, it's broken, which means she and the player will have to find something else.

Instead of giving up, Hook will urge the player to go to the orphanage. Run through the alleyways and fight the two packs of Fragmentum monsters up top. After a short conversation, players will be able to use Findie in order to help Hook get her treasure. This will lead players to Julian's Time Capsule near the rusty slide and Hook's old teddy bear, Junjun, near the stack of crates by the guard rails.

Finish up at the orphanage and speak with Hook and Natasha at the Boulder Town clinic. The doctor will give a quick rundown on the teddy bear's story as well as a pleasant surprise that should bring a smile to the little girl's face.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
