HoYoverse has announced sign-ups are open for the final closed beta for Honkai: Star Rail, a new space RPG from the Genshin Impact developer. The newest entry in the Honkai series was first announced in late 2021 with HoYoverse already running multiple closed beta tests with limited access for players looking to try out the game early. Trailers released in the year since its reveal have introduced players to the game's colorful cast of characters and the different realms players can explore. Now, HoYoverse is gearing up for its final beta test.

HoYoverse's newest RPG comes as the developer has seen massive success with Genshin Impact following the game's high-profile launch in late 2020. The RPG quickly became an online phenomenon and has won multiple accolades since its release, most recently taking the Player's Voice Award at the 2022 Game Awards. The popularity of Genshin Impact has seen HoYoverse make a push to capitalize on the RPG's success, announcing Honkai: Star Rail shortly after the game's first anniversary and later revealing Zenless Zone Zero. Now, Honkai: Star Rail's highly-anticipated release doesn't seem too far away.

A new announcement from HoYoverse has officially revealed the details for Honkai: Star Rail's final closed beta test, set to begin next month. The developer would officially open sign-ups for the newest round of closed beta testing on Monday with an official start date of February 10th. The last beta test for Honkai: Star Rail will allow participation from players on both PC and mobile devices, with potential testers asked to fill out a short survey with details about their gaming experience and preferences. No official full release date has been confirmed by HoYoverse as of yet. Click here to sign up.

The reveal of the final closed beta test was joined by a new trailer titled "Space Comedy" showcasing the game's wide cast of characters. The trailer takes a comedic approach as it shows some of the game's main cast including the previously revealed March 7th on the run. The trailer introduces many characters already playable in Honkai: Star Rail's previous closed beta tests, showing off the unique personalities of characters like Pela, Herta, and Jing Yuan among others.

The impending closed beta tests for Honkai: Star Rail comes as HoYoverse has seen significant success with its other IPs in recent months. Genshin Impact's recent Raiden Shogun and Ayato banner became the highest-selling gacha banner in the RPG's two-year-long history, toppling a record set just over a month before. Another new RPG from HoYoverse, Zenless Zone Zero, also held its first closed beta test last summer. Honkai: Star Rail will have high expectations to live up to following in the footsteps of Genshin Impact for HoYoverse.
