Lace

Hollow Knight: Silksong characters

One of the characters with the most information released so far is Lace, who seems to have a strong connection with Hornet's past. This will be a recurring boss in Hollow Knight: Silksong and it seems to be just as important as Hornet was for the first game. Thanks to the game's previews, players have been able to dissect Hornet's first battle against Lace, which takes place in the Deep Docks. In this battle alone, Lace is seen using eight different combat moves which include Lunge, Double Cut, Balestra, Parry & Riposte, Flourish, Retreat, Advance, and Whirlwind. Lace's full combat style is inspired by fencing and the character's weapon also resembles a foil.

Moss Mother

Another boss that players have been able to see is Moss Mother. This Silksong boss appears to be similar to the Gruz Mother since both of them are the first bosses players have to go through in Hollow Knight. Moss Mother can be found at the Old Church in the Moss Grotto, where she will engage in combat with Hornet using two moves: Headbutt and Swoop.

Steel Assassin Sharpe

Even though players have not been able to see Steel Assassin Sharpe in combat, Team Cherry has mentioned it in one of its blog posts. Steel Assassin Sharpe will be accompanied by two other foes who come from a distant land to fight Hornet. While their motivations have not been revealed yet, the trio is expected to give Hornet a rough time.

Trobbio

This histrionic character was revealed in the Hollow Knight: Silksong trailer, and even though there is no footage of this boss in action, Team Cherry has shared a bit about this character in the game's blog. Trobbio's style is somewhat similar to that of the Grimm, in the sense that the battle unfolds in a scenario-like stage.

Hunter Queen Carmelita

While there is not much information revealed about this character yet, Hunter Queen Carmelita has been confirmed as one of the bosses of Hollow Knight: Silksong. This boss seems to draw inspiration from the opera and the stage, in which Hunter Queen Carmelita fights Hornet looks like an auditorium in which there are ant spectators witnessing the battle.

Seth

So far, the only information available about Seth is that this boss will be located at the base of the Citadel in Pharloom. This boss was revealed through a series of riddles released by Team Cherry from June to July 2020 in which new details about Hollow Knight: Silksong were disclosed.

Last Judge

Hollow Knight Silksong Last_Judge

The Last Judge is the only enemy which has not been confirmed as a boss in Silksong but is one of the foes most clearly tied with the first game since its appearance resembles that of The Godseeker from the Godmaster's DLC of Hollow Knight. Despite this, it is considered to be one of the possible bosses as it was mentioned in the spread of Edge Magazine and can also be seen attacking Hornet.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is in development for PC and Switch.
