The latest update for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery changes the loading screen to Hagrid and some magical creatures and adds a new limited-time side quest for players to complete. The new side quest is called "The Weird Sisters!" and Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players have about three days to complete it and unlock an exclusive cosmetic item for their troubles.

Hogwarts Mystery players who complete all four parts of The Weird Sisters side quest will unlock some coins, two sets of gems, and a new outfit. They will also have the unique opportunity to interact with the Weird Sisters band members, who are known to Harry Potter fans for playing music at the Yule Ball during the events of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

The Weird Sisters side quest plays out like any other limited-time side quest in the game, except there is also an achievement tied to it as well. If players manage to complete the Weird Sisters side quest successfully, they will unlock a Year 2 achievement and earn an additional five gems to go with the gems they unlock from completing the side quest's steps.

The Weird Sisters side quest isn't the only thing added to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery this week. Jam City has also started yet another House Pride multiplayer event. Running for about as long as the Weird Sisters side quest (meaning players will potentially have to choose to focus on one or the other), the House Pride event will let players unlock an exclusive cosmetic item as well as coins, and up to 12 notebooks which can be exchanged for magical pets if they manage to collect enough.

And finally, it's worth mentioning that Year 5 Chapter 8 is in the game as well, so Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players should be keeping plenty busy. We were able to access Year 5 Chapter 8 on Wednesday evening, so it's likely that Year 5 Chapter 8 was part of last week's update instead of being added this week. If that's true, then it's probable Jam City skipped adding Year 5 Chapter 9 this week in favor of adding the Weird Sisters side quest instead. That's just speculation at this time, though.

Regardless, fans of the mobile game should have no shortage of activities to complete this weekend.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
