Hogwarts Legacy has a spell that players can use to turn their enemies into chickens. Hogwarts Legacy is an action-RPG set in the Harry Potter universe with combat that largely revolves around casting spells. Plenty of spells have been shown off since the game's initial reveal, confirming that Hogwarts Legacy players will have plenty of tools at their disposal when going up against dark wizards and dangerous beasts.

Hogwarts Legacy spells include some of the most famous from Harry Potter lore, with players even having the option of using the Unforgivable Curses. For those who may be unfamiliar with them, the Unforgivable Curses in Harry Potter are Avada Kedavra, Crucio, and Imperio, which allows the user to kill their opponent, torture them, and take control of them, respectively. Hogwarts Legacy players that don't want to resort to using the Unforgivable Curses will still have to defend themselves, which is where spells like Pullus come into play.

As spotted in a new Hogwarts Legacy gameplay clip, players can use what is presumably the Pullus spell to transform their enemies into chickens. There are other Harry Potter franchise spells that may be able to achieve similar results, but Pullus is known for turning people into chickens. In any case, Harry Potter fans can see the spell in action for themselves while checking out some other interesting details that can be gleaned from the clip.

While this latest Hogwarts Legacy gameplay clip is brief, it does reveal a lot of interesting details. For example, it appears to be set in an arena of some sort, with the player trying to complete some timed challenge. A counter at the top of the screen is keeping track of the number of enemies defeated, while the right-side of the screen tasks players with achieving various Hogwarts Legacy duelling feats, like casting Stupefy, defeating an enemy with something called the Chinese Chomping Cabbage, and successfully performing combos.

Of course, there is a lot more to Hogwarts Legacy than combat. While combat will be an important part of the game, Hogwarts Legacy also features broom flying, interactions with magical creatures, the opportunity to take Hogwarts classes, and more. If the game is able to deliver all this content in a satisfying way, it has potential to be one of the biggest games of the entire year, so it will be exciting to see if Avalanche Software is able to pull it off once Hogwarts Legacy launches next month.

Hogwarts Legacy launches February 10 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X, with PS4 and Xbox One versions coming April 4 and a Switch release dropping July 25.
