This information comes not long following a different leak, which claimed that the game should be getting major showcases in short order.A leaker has taken to Twitter, claiming that their sources suggest that Hogwarts Legacy could possibly be among a wide variety of Harry Potter-themed media that could be pushed back. All thanks to the unexpected delay of a Fantastic Beasts trailer, if the leaker's sources are correct.Specifically, the leaker's source says that the trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is being edited due to the movie itself getting a launch delay. This, in turn, seems to have resulted in a rippling effect that may potentially affect a variety of other Harry Potter projects. One of those projects, says AccountNGT, the originator of this rumor, may well be Hogwarts Legacy​​​​​​.
Sources also claim that the supposed delay of the Fantastic Beasts 3 trailer may have something to do with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which wouldn't be out of place considering the circumstances. Warner Bros' initial plans for 2022 may therefore be getting revamped in the future, but fans may wish to wait and see until the company puts out an official statement on the matter.
It's worth remembering that there have been rumors of a Hogwarts Legacy delay for some time now, though WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar put those rumors to rest at the time.
