Millie A, a leaker who has accurately leaked things like the Insomniac Games Wolverine game recently, has suggested that Hogwarts Legacy will be shown later this month or at The Game Awards. Millie A made this claim while responding to a fan who was asking when the game will be shown next. Assuming Millie A's information is correct, it seems that fans will either see the game again within the next few weeks or on Thursday, December 9 when The Game Awards rolls around. Of course, fans should take this information with a grain of salt, even with Millie A's history of accurate leaks.
Very little has been seen of Hogwarts Legacy since the game's announcement. The Hogwarts Legacy reveal trailer confirmed the basic concept of the game, which will see players experience life as a Hogwarts student, but there hasn't been substantial gameplay footage shown. It's unclear the scope of the next Hogwarts Legacy update, but maybe fans will get to see the highly-anticipated game in action. And if they're lucky, maybe the release window will get narrowed down as well, though it's important that fans keep their expectations in check on that front.
Some fans had hoped to see Hogwarts Legacy at E3 2021, but Warner Bros. Interactive limited its representation at the event, deciding to focus almost exclusively on the co-op shooter Back 4 Blood instead. With Hogwarts Legacy skipping E3, the next hope was for the game to pop up at the PlayStation Showcase that took place in September, but that event came and went with no sign of Hogwarts Legacy either.
If Hogwarts Legacy is shown in October, it's unclear when exactly that reveal could take place. There are no big gaming events currently scheduled for this month, and it's unlikely that PlayStation would be hosting another showcase so soon. If Warner Bros. is planning on hosting its own event, it hasn't announced those plans. Considering this, it seems like a reveal at The Game Awards is the more likely scenario - assuming Millie A's information is correct, that is.
