Upon speaking with Agness, players should make their way south to an area called Manor Cape. There, they'll need to defeat a group of enemies and then look for the large wooden doors which lead to Henrietta's Hideaway. Inside, players will need to place the cube on the circle with the ice crystal on it and then hit it with the Glacius spell so that it begins to glow, Players will need to light the torch under the statue on the left to reveal the fire cube. They can then move the cube to the platform and cast a fire spell on it to reveal the secret passage.

In the next area, players will need to cast Arresto Momentum on an enchanted floor in order to progress. Using Revelio to follow the trail of coins, they'll soon reach a large chamber with a broken statue at the far end. Here, after defeating the enemies, they use Accio to summon the cube from the upper area on the left and then place it on the circle with the feather on it on the left side of the chamber. This time, they'll need to cast Levioso rather than Glacius. Players should go back up the stairs and move a brazier to the flame platform and cast a fire spell to reveal the door.

The newly revealed passageway will lead players to a chamber with the missing Niffler. It's quite a small area, so they should have no trouble getting the beast inside the Nab Sack. The statue in this room can be used to return to the entrance, but before they leave, players should double back to the large chamber and look for the enchanted wall on the right side (it opens automatically when players stand in front of it). If they haven't already, they'll want to grab the Musical Map from this room, as it is needed for the "Solved by the Bell" side quest.

When players are ready, they should leave the hideaway and then use the Floo Flames network to fast travel back to Agness in Bainburgh. They can hand Rococo back to her willingly, demand a reward, or, as in some of the other beast-related side quests like "Take the Biscuit" and "Birds of a Feather," simply choose to keep the little Niffler for themselves. Whichever they opt for, they'll get 180 XP and the Niffler Fur-Lined Hat cosmetic item as a reward.

How Long Does it Take to Complete Rescuing Rococo in Hogwarts Legacy?

For those who know what they're doing and already have all of the right fast travel points unlocked, Rescuing Rococo can be completed in around ten minutes. However, due to the invisible doorway that only reveals itself when players get close, most will likely spend a few minutes stuck in the room near the end of the quest. There are lots of powerful enemies scattered throughout this side quest too, so unless players are massively over-leveled or have the best gear in Hogwarts Legacy, they can expect quite a bit of combat. With all this in mind, players will probably want to set aside around thirty minutes to find Rococo.

Hogwarts Legacy is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. A Switch version is currently in development.
