Hogwarts Legacy players may not be able to compete in a Triwizard Tournament of their own, but they can at least find the casket housing the Goblet of Fire. Hogwarts Legacy's recreation of Hogwarts castle has earned widespread acclaim since the game's launch, with many praising the developers for faithfully bringing it to life based on both the book descriptions and film depictions.

As players explore Hogwarts castle, they will find all kinds of Easter eggs and interesting details. Players can collect Field Guide pages and read about various objects on display in the castle, some of which are tied to events that happen in the Harry Potter books and movies despite the fact that Hogwarts Legacy takes place about 100 years before the main series. One such object of interest in Hogwarts Castle is the Goblet of Fire casket, located in the castle's Trophy Room.

In the Grand Staircase section of the Hogwarts castle map, players can find the Trophy Room. A convenient Floo Flame fast-travel point is located right in the Trophy Room, so players can potentially zip directly to it assuming they've been there before. Upon arriving in the Trophy Room, Hogwarts Legacy players will find the Goblet of Fire casket, a special chest housing the Goblet of Fire itself.

For those who may be unfamiliar with it, the Goblet of Fire is a magical goblet that is used to select participants for the Triwizard Tournament. The Triwizard Tournament itself was an event that saw various magical schools competing against each other to complete challenging tasks. However, the danger of the tournament saw that it was eventually banned, only to make a comeback during the events of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

An age limit is imposed on the participants of the Triwizard Tournament, meaning Harry Potter shouldn't be allowed to compete. However, some trickery sees Harry Potter's name called from the Goblet of Fire, and he is made to participate in the games.

Hogwarts Legacy sticks closely to established Harry Potter canon, so it's unlikely fans will ever get the chance to participate in a Triwizard Tournament. Even if a Hogwarts Legacy DLC expansion materializes, it's unlikely that it will feature a Triwizard Tournament either for that very reason. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie and book fans will simply have to make due with the checking out the Goblet of Fire casket in the castle's trophy room.

Hogwarts Legacy is out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X with PS4 and Xbox One versions coming April 4 and a Switch version releasing July 25.
