A new musical teaser for Hogwarts Legacy is out and features new gameplay footage. In the same fashion as other teasers posted to the game's official YouTube channel, this Hogwarts Legacy sneak peek breaks usual expectations with its style of content delivery.

Though not a direct adaptation of the films and books, the RPG game is set in the Wizarding World of the 1800s. The single-player action game envelopes players in the new take on student life at Hogwarts as they learn potions, practice magical spells, and uncover the truth behind a mystery at the school. So far, the Hogwarts Legacy teasers have been revealed in unique ways, with one of the latest ones presented as an ASMR “Calm Autumn Morning” ambiance.

Now, the latest teaser for the Hogwarts Legacy game comes in the form of a music video. The entire video depicts a 54-piece Orchestra and Choir playing “Overture to the Unwritten.” In the background of the orchestra’s special concert, new footage from Hogwarts Legacy’s world is projected onto a screen. The new glimpse into the game gave fans a closer view of Hogwarts' interior, such as the Great Hall, as well as a few gorgeous exterior setting shots. One scene showed a student going up against skeletal enemies.

Many fans have praised the music video’s visuals and how the game’s score echoes that of John Williams’ music for the Harry Potter films. Hogwarts Legacy’s official YouTube channel stated that the talents included in the project are from the University of Utah, BYU, Salt Lake Symphony Orchestra, Local Studio Musicians, and renowned recording artists Nicole Pinnell, Nicole Klossner, Ryan Shupe, Abe Kaelin, Bart Olson, John Knudsen, and Dune Moss. “Overture to the Unwritten” was composed by Chuck E. Myers “Sea”, J. Scott Rakozy, and Peter Murray.

With the announcement of various professors, an explanation of the in-game field guide, and a Harry Potter ASMR video, a lot of things have been released that feature an eclectic amount of details from the game. The excitement for fans of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World is definitely building as the release time nears.

Hogwarts Legacy releases on February 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development.
