As the release date for Hogwarts Legacy draws ever closer, yet another key character for the game has been officially revealed in the form of the Charms Professor. The character will be making their first appearance of the franchise in Hogwarts Legacy, and has fans excited after reading his initial biography.Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world, action role-playing game set in the 1800s, meaning it occurs far before the events of the original Harry Potter books. The developers have repeatedly emphasized that the plot will follow the player as they "embark on a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world." Though what exactly this "truth" is remains under wraps, Hogwarts Legacy has been slowly unveiling new content and characters, such as the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor.RELATED: Everything Revealed About Hogwarts Legacy's Combat So FarThe latest character to be unveiled is Abraham Ronen, who will be serving as Hogwarts' Charms Professor throughout the game. Ronen's accompanying biography presents him as a kind man who values the friendship and extra-curriculars of his students almost as much as the class he teaches. Having grown up with a strict father, Ronen enjoys playing games of all kinds, and strives to incorporate them into his classes as gameplay elements of Hogwarts Legacy.

Not much else is currently known about Professor Ronen, though Chandler Wood, a Community Manager working on Hogwarts Legacy, previously tweeted confirming that Ronen was sorted into the Slytherin house as a student. Perhaps this is due to the Professor's mischievous nature and love for games - being partial to a game of Gobstones and allegedly having met his wife during an especially enjoyable Gobstones tournament, or maybe player choices could lead to him becoming a primary antagonist, with his Slytherin housing being an early indicator of this possible development, though that's just speculation at this time.

Excitement continues to build as the release date for Hogwarts Legacy draws ever closer and, with a Hogwarts tour and custom character creator having already been showcased alongside the ever-growing cast of the game, fans are eager to see what else developers have in store.

Hogwarts Legacy releases February 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. A Switch version is also in development.
