A Hogwarts Legacy player recently shared quite an interesting discovery on social media: there are two parts of Hogwarts Castle that players simply can’t reach. This discovery shows the Hogwarts Legacy community that the game is still far from completely explored and that there are still many secrets within it.

Even before its launch, one of Hogwarts Legacy’s main marketing points was the representation of Hogwarts Castle in the 1800s. While not completely identical to the movies due to several reasons, including that the books and movies differ in a few aspects, the castle is a huge, sprawling location. So, when players go off the beaten path and wander around the castle, they may find a few surprises or, in this case, not find something at all.

Reddit user Anurmhvhno has recently shared their discovery on Reddit, showing that both a tower that mirrors the Music Tower and a large tower above Hogwarts’ library appear on the outside, but are not accessible from the game. To gather this information, the gamer used videos from walkable areas as well as the minimap and created the model overlapping them. So, while Hogwarts Legacy is absolutely filled with interesting locations, nobody will be able to find out what is inside these two, as the content simply does not exist.

Some of the other findings made by Anurmhvhno are also worthy of note. For example, the poster noticed that the Slytherin common room is the largest area in the entire game by far, probably due to being underground, an advantage that the rooms from both Ravenclaw and Gryffindor do not have. Hufflepuff's room is the second largest one, so that theory could be correct. Anurmhvhno also pointed out that there are some issues with the minimap, such as the walkway below the Divination Tower which seems like a mistake. In the comments, a few users discussed the famous Chamber of Secrets, which is different from what was presented in the movies.

Players in Hogwarts Legacy are constantly discovering interesting new elements about the game, and these empty spaces where rooms should exist are far from the only ones. For instance, recently a gamer discovered how Mandrake plants can be used for cheesing fights, making them truly live up to their reputation in the books and movies as mighty killers. If these examples are anything to go by, the game’s community will keep discovering secrets, be they bugs or crazy strategies, for a while.

Hogwarts Legacy is out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, and will launch for PS4 and Xbox One on April 4, and for Nintendo Switch on July 25.
