These days, anyone and anything can be sorted into a Hogwarts house. We've all done the test on Pottermore and have either been totally satisfied with our results, or in complete denial about them. Sorting is based on a simple personality test and since it's so simple, we figured why not try a wildly ambitious crossover: Persona 5 and Harry Potter.

Sounds crazy, right? That's because it definitely is. After much deliberation on house qualities, personality traits, and game roles, we've sorted our favorite characters in the houses they would likely identify with. Whether or not the sorting hat agrees, well... that's another matter entirely.

10 Ren/Akira/Joker As A Slytherin

The amount of people who will likely disagree with this one is almost unfathomable, but there's good reason for why Ren would find himself in a Slytherin-almost-Gryffindor situation. For starters, Ren can be likened to Harry in many ways - always going out of his way for the good of those around him, putting his life on the line to save people's lives, having a pure moral compass, etc.

However, his Persona is Arsene, who is technically an anti-hero according to Persona lore. Therefore, he would have the best of both worlds as Snape did: Ambitious, creative, cunning, brilliant... but with a dark streak.

9 Ryuji As A Gryffindor

Ryuji almost found his way into Hufflepuff before we realized he's basically the foul-mouthed, aggressive version of Ron Weasley. He would be the one to have a defective wand, to be burping up slugs, and to be taking swings at Malfoy without a second thought.

There are plenty of parallels between their characters but underneath it all, his heart is fierce and it's wholesome. His protection and loyalty attributes are off the charts, making him a true Gryffindor despite his angry tendencies.

8 Ann As A Hufflepuff

She's cute, lovable, and sometimes a bit air-headed. That's not to say that Hufflepuffs share every trait, but Ann is undoubtedly kind and loyal, two things that Hufflepuffs excel at.

This house very rarely gets enough credit despite the fact that they're probably the kindest at Hogwarts. Anyone representing this house has a huge heart, goes out of their way to show compassion to others, and are both diligent and reliable as friends... This is pretty much Ann to a T.

7 Makoto As A Gryffindor

Makoto in Persona 5

Okay, if Hermione was a bit more cruel and didn't make any friends, that would be Makoto. Similar to Ryuji's match-up with Ron, Makoto has a striking resemblance to Hermione, which makes her a true Gryffindor.

Her dedication to the books alone would make her a perfect contender for this house, but it's also her fierce willpower and determination that have earned her this sorted decision. We could picture her wielding the Sword of Godric Gryffindor with ease.

6 Futaba As A Ravenclaw

Futaba is weird, Haru is weird, and that's why they've both ended up being sorted into the same house. They're both a bit shy and contemplative, similar to Luna Lovegood, and Futaba does share a few key traits with Rowena Ravenclaw that can't be denied.

Futaba's intelligence alone would have her sitting pretty as a proud Ravenclaw. That, combined with her witty comebacks and unique personality, makes her tailor-made for this house.

5 Haru As A Ravenclaw

Quiet and seemingly innocent Haru would also be a Ravenclaw, no questions asked. Her calm yet creative nature allows her to observe and be intuitive about things that many other characters charge right through, classic trait of a Ravenclaw.

She's clever in ways that require both emotion and logical thought, as opposed to pure analytics. Lastly, her ability to be wise beyond her years as well as logical only supports the notion that she would be sorted into this house.

4 Goro As A Slytherin

Just as you could easily put Ren into Gryffindor, you could just as easily sort Goro there, too. It's revealed that his true self is not the monster he was perceived to be, which made him a sympathetic character - but still allowed for some darkness.

Both he and Ren had to learn this balance, and Goro, while holding power in spades, made the choice to fall to darkness. He just as easily could have used his cunning wit and conniving intelligence for good but alas, he was weak without friends to support him.

3 Sae As A Slytherin

Sae is an interesting character because she could be sorted into Ravenclaw, Slytherin, or Gryffindor. We chose Slytherin because all in all, her intelligence outweighs her other qualities. Her evil shadow form prevents her from being a full Gryffindor, as she does have a touch of darkness in her.

Similarly, her aggressive nature and outward personality prevents her from being a true Ravenclaw as well. Therefore, Slytherin it is. She could have done great work, you know...

2 Sojiro As A Hufflepuff

Sojiro is a character whom everyone loves, so it's no surprise that he would be sorted into Hufflepuff. His innocence in most matters and his moral compass could be compatible with Gryffindor as well, however, he's not a hero-type.

He is, however, a wise supporter, someone who cares deeply for others - obvious in his devotion to both Futaba and Ren - making him a true Hufflepuff. He's also incredibly hard-working and sincere, two qualities that absolutely shine when it comes to being sorted into Hufflepuff. If anything, he's truer to this house than any other character on our list.

1 Morgana As A Gryffindor

It's definitely no surprise that Morgana would undoubtedly be a Gryffindor. Not only that, but his bravery and courage would make him a nearly flawless Gryffindor too. From fighting for the house cup to successfully capturing the snitch, Morgana would revel in each heroic moment.

Truly chivalrous - as stated by himself - his confidence alone would make up for any house trait he lacked, of which we can think of none off-hand. With a valiant weapon in one hand and a firm can-do attitude, Morgana simply shines as being the best Gryffindor on this list, possibly even more so than Harry himself.
