The Hitman: World Of Assassination trilogy tasks players with infiltrating the inner circles of some of the most powerful and guarded individuals in the world. Agent 47 must use any and all tools at his disposal – whether it be scaling buildings to reach inaccessible locations, making use of social engineering to create unique opportunities, or utilizing a disguise to bypass tough security.
Disguises are a very useful aspect of the game, allowing players to enter new areas and get closer to their targets. Some grant greater access and give 47 more opportunities than others, however. Here are Agent 47’s most powerful disguises across the entire Hitman: World Of Assassination trilogy.
11 Honorable Mentions
While many outfits in the trilogy are highly advantageous, others are just plain silly. From a bright pink race mascot to a vampire magician, and a jungle shaman to a shuriken-throwing ninja, there are plenty of fun outfits that are absolutely useless aside from the completion of challenges. Nevertheless, they get an honorable mention for granting players the ability to murder their targets in style.
10 Knight’s Armour – Isle Of Sgàil
Less of a disguise and more of a fully-functioning suit of medieval plate, the Knight’s Armor has one major use in that it will reduce damage taken from bullets, making 47 far more durable should he find himself in a firefight. This will become a common occurrence while wearing this outfit, as the entire map will be hostile on sight.
While Knight’s Armor does allow players to blend in on plinths, it also stops them from crouching, taking cover, or climbing, all of which are essential techniques at an assassin’s disposal. This one is probably best used for going on a murderous rampage around the map.
9 The Board Member- Chongqing
A disguise that serves one purpose and one purpose only, the ICA Board Member’s disguise grants access to the underground ICA data storage facility. Wearing this outfit will allow 47 to receive a tour of the entire complex, along with almost unrestricted access.
As those who have completed the mission will know the facility can be difficult to navigate, with only a couple of entrances and three separate tiers of security that must be unlocked by finding separate dongles across the complex. The Board Member disguise is convenient as it grants players easy access and dispenses with most of the hassle involved in getting past security.
8 Providence Commando – Carpathian Mountains
Similar to the Knight’s Armor, the Providence Commando disguise (which includes the Providence Commando Leader disguise as they are essentially the same) gives 47 some much-needed resistance to bullets. It also has some other uses, though.
Firstly, it grants access to most of the train, allowing players to bypass guards or strike them stealthily. Secondly, the disguise is much more suitable for the Carpathian Mountains map, which functions as a linear path of heavily-armed guards that must be dealt with rather than the more opportunistic, blending-in-with-the-crowd style of gameplay that Isle Of Sgàil offers.
7 Military Officer - Marrakesh
High-ranking members of Reza Zaydan’s unit, Military Officers can go almost anywhere on the map, excluding the second floor of the consulate. This makes them incredibly versatile, able to travel around the school and through the streets of Marrakesh without raising any suspicions.
Military officers also have the unique feature of being able to dismiss soldiers inside the school, resulting in fewer guards lurking around to witness illegal activity. Only Zaydan himself and a few other officers act as enforcers for this disguise, meaning players are safe from detection in most areas.
6 Private Investigator – Dartmoor
Brought in by Alexa Carlisle to investigate the passing of her brother Zachary, the PI disguise is given access to most parts of Thornbridge Manor in an effort to get to the bottom of his sudden and mysterious death. This includes access to the bedrooms of many Carlisle family members, and as no one knows what the PI actually looks like, there are no enforcers for the outfit besides the original investigator.
After concluding the investigation, this disguise also grants players an audience with Alexa Carlisle on the top floor, opening up a number of opportunities to ensure she suffers the same fate as her late brother.
5 Hospital Director - Hokkaido
Arguably the best disguise on the map, the Hospital Director outfit grants access to most of the GAMA hospital. It is the only disguise that allows players to both enter the director’s office and interact with KAI, the AI system running the facility, enabling an easy kill of Soders by causing KAI to malfunction.
Surprisingly, it does not allow access everywhere, as only surgeons can access the operating theatre, and only doctors can enter patient suites. However, it’s still highly reliable, with very few enforcers and the ability to avoid getting frisked by guards.
4 Helmut Kruger/Sheikh - Paris
Both of these disguises grant similar benefits to the player, giving access to most of the mansion’s floors and grounds, including the secret auction on the top floor. Once acquiring Kruger’s outfit, players can undergo make-up by a stylist and walk the catwalk before getting invited for a private audience with Dalia Margolis.
As for the Sheikh, he can attend the auction without an invite, and should he bid on an item, will be invited into Margolis’ office for a meeting. Both methods allow 47 to expertly complete the hit. Neither disguise will get frisked, allowing players to carry concealed weapons into these restricted areas.
3 Elite Guard - Isle Of Sgàil
Wearing an Elite Guard disguise will allow 47 into basically every area on the map. It is especially important for accessing some of the highest floors in the castle, including the penthouse, which can be difficult to reach due to its exclusive nature and linear pathway.
The Jebediah Block disguise comes in at a close second for this map, as it cannot access just as many areas as the Elite Guard and can’t be seen openly carrying a weapon. The Elite Guard outfit is also far easier to obtain, as these guys are scattered all across the map rather than the hard-to-reach rooftop where Jebediah is found.
2 Head Of Security – Mendoza
Obtained from Cortázar, the head of the mercenary group that guards Yates’ vineyard, this disguise grants access to the entire map. It is slightly better than the standard Mercenary outfit as it allows players to carry a sniper rifle without drawing attention, despite regular mercs making use of a sniper on top of the silos.
Either way, the outfit significantly helps with traversal around the vineyard and is one of the few disguises across the trilogy that grants access to every single location on a map.
1 Rolf Hirschmüller - Berlin
As the owner of Club Hölle and the leader of the Ragnarok Disciples biker gang, Rolf essentially owns the entirety of the Berlin map. Wearing this disguise allows players to go anywhere on the map, and rather surprisingly, there is only one enforcer (Agent Tremaine) that can see through the disguise.
If that wasn’t enough, the outfit allows 47 to openly carry weapons just like any regular guard disguise. It even allows players to trigger a meeting with Agent Montgomery, during which he will bring several targets as backup, being aware that 47 is posing as Hirschmüller. With some careful preparation, players can take them all out in a satisfying multi-target assassination, making Rolf the ultimate hitman disguise.
