Hitman 3 officially launched this January, bringing Agent 47 back to screens in a new adventure filled with targets to assassinate, maps to scour, and an engaging story to complete. With the conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy now in players' hands, IO Interactive has moved onto the game's post-launch content, and April appears to be a huge month for the stealth-action franchise.
Today, the official Hitman YouTube channel posted a new video detailing everything coming to the game over the next four weeks, including elusive targets, new contracts, and escalation missions. It also discusses the game's latest DLC, Greed, which was the first in a lineup of new expansion packs titled The Seven Deadly Sins. The pack released last week and will seemingly be the thematic basis for the upcoming month of content, which has been dubbed the "Season of Greed."
All the content slated to hit the game from now until May 10 will be free to all players, starting with The Berlin Egg Hunt, which can be played right now. The Easter-themed event will be accessible until April 12 and sees Agent 47 tasked with hunting down eggs scattered across the Berlin nightclub map. Each egg allegedly contains a different poison and collecting them all will unlock the "Raver outfit." Tomorrow (April 9) will also welcome Hitman 3's first elusive contract, with players having to kill an NPC known as The Collector. They'll crop up in Thornbridge manor until April 19 and, as usual for Hitman's elusive targets, players will only have one shot at killing them.
The event will be followed by new featured contracts on April 15, with Twitch channel Two Angry Gamers challenging players with new targets on the Dubai and Dartmoor maps. A second elusive target will follow up the streaming duo's contracts, with The Politician appearing at Hawke's Bay on April 23 and staying until May 3. She'll allegedly travel with a body double, so players will have to ensure they've got the right target before they go in for the kill.
The Season of Greed will be capped off by two final events. The first, an escalation contract set in Chongqing called The Jinzhen Incident. According to the promo, it will see Agent 47 move from the city's alleyways to its testing facility, assassinating targets and completing challenges. The second is another batch of featured contracts landing on May 6, this time from YouTube channel Achievement Hunter. The targets will be spread across Mendoza, Chongqing, and Berlin, and are sure to bring hours of fun to the stealth sandbox.
Hitman 3 is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
