Hitman 3's latest elusive target is called The Politician and puts players in the Hawke's Bay New Zealand map. In the release trailer, former New Zealand Minister of Trade and Foreign Affairs, Dame Barbara Elizabeth Keating, is announced as the target and is available for players to hunt from April 23 to May 3.

This elusive target is part of the larger Season of Greed (March 30-May 9) which, in turn, is part of Hitman 3's Seven Deadly Sins expansion. The Hitman franchise has had numerous elusive targets since the beginning of the World of Assassination trilogy back in 2016 including Sean Bean, the robbers from Home Alone, and Gary Busey.

The trailer has Diana detailing all of Keating's past misdeeds. These include the fact that she was likely shuffling funds from a charity she represented to her own off-shore accounts as well as her likely involvement in the suicide of that same charity's director. The Politician, as she is known, has a thirst for power and money and is attempting to stage a comeback. The wrinkle in this elusive target is that Keating will have a body double who cannot be killed in order for the contract to be successful. As with all other elusive targets, players have one shot to take out The Politician.

Hitman 3 has received glowing reviews and its elaborate seven-part expansion truly begins with this elusive target. As part of Greed, Keating seems to fit the bill quite well and, judging by the trailer, this looks to be a solid first step for the additional content. According to the trailer's details, all players who own Hitman 3 should be able to tackle this elusive target for free.

It looks like Hitman is not pulling any punches when it comes to who it thinks are guilty of the seven deadly sins. A crooked politician is a great example of greed and players should have a blast working their way through the beautiful New Zealand map hunting Keating down. The additional wrinkle of a body double should be a great extra challenge as well as it seems clear killing the double results in the end of the contract.

Elusive targets are great and annoying because of their very nature. But, either way, it looks like Hitman 3's post-launch content looks to be starting off quite strong. Hopefully this continues through the other six sins as well.

Hitman 3 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
