Hitman 3 combines all of the levels, items, and costumes from the previous two games, if players own them, in one convenient package. For players who don't own the first title in the new trilogy, IO Interactive has announced that a new level in the Sapienza map will be available in Hitman 3 for a limited time.

Hitman 3 is in the middle of its Season of Greed event, a month-long slate of free content that is all themed around the game's DLC, Greed. While the new Sapienza mission was not included in the official Season of Greed announcement, it will be available to all Hitman 3 and Hitman 3 - Free Starter Pack players.

The Landslide mission will be available to all players for free from April 15 to April 25 and sees Agent 46 returning to the fictional Italian coastal town of Sapienza to assassinate a snake-tongued politician that is close to winning the mayorship during a small concert by the harbor. The mission is a bonus mission from 2016's Hitman, so any players that already owned Hitman already have full access to the mission and all of its unlocks in Hitman 3. For any players who want a sneak peek at the Landslide mission, the announcement came with a trailer.

The announcement also includes that Hitman 3 - Free Starter Pack will be receiving a rotation of free locations for players to try for limited windows of time. While the ICA Facility location will always be included with the starter pack, other missions, locations, and Elusive Targets will rotate through the starter pack from across the entire trilogy.

The announcement states that during the rest of the Season of Greed event, Hitman 2's opening mission Hawke's Bay will be available on top of the Landslide missions' limited window. IO Interactive also clarified that news of future map rotations for the Hitman 3 - Free Starter Pack will be included with future Hitman 3 seasonal event roadmaps.

The new rotation of free maps and missions is a great opportunity for Hitman 3 players to experience some of the other great content in the trilogy's previous entries. Every level in Hitman games has a lot of depth and secrets for players to discover and experiment with, meaning that players replay through every level multiple times, so having levels be free for a limited time is also a great way for players to test the levels and see if they want to purchase them. Regardless, Hitman 3 has reviewed well, and this new feature is another strong addition to the game.

Hitman 3 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
